Download TO ASSEMBLE GAUGE, HOSE SET, AND QUICK COUPLE

INSTRUCTIONS:
TO ASSEMBLE GAUGE, HOSE SET, AND QUICK COUPLE CONNECTORS
1. Attach Red Hose to the right side fitting on the gauge.
2. Attach Blue Hose to the left side fitting on the gauge.
3. Attach Yellow Hose to the center fitting on the gauge.
4. Attach Blue Quick Couple Connector to the end of the blue hose.
5. Attach Red Quick Couple Connector to the end of the red hose.
6. Make sure that both the gauge valves and the shut off valves on the connectors are all in the closed
position. To close shut off valves
turn clockwise until it is perpendicular to the hose.
7. Connect the R-134a cylinder to the yellow charging hose.
TO CHECK OPERATING PRESSURE
1. Connect the Red Quick Couple Connector to the High Side Service Port of the auto air conditioner.
2. Connect the Blue Quick Couple Connector to the Low Side Service Port of the auto air conditioner.
3. Start engine. Turn air conditioner to maximum cool.
4. Open connector shut off valves on both the high side and low side.
5. Observe pressure readings. Check service manual for proper operating pressures.
TO ADD 134a REFRIGERANT AFTER CHECKING OPERATING PRESSURE
1. Open both the Blue Low Side Valve on the gauge and the Blue Quick Couple Connector shut off valve.
2. Add 134a refrigerant through the yellow hose by opening the dispensing valve on the cylinder or can.
TO EVACUATE WITH AUXILIARY VACUUM PUMP
1. Connect the Red Quick Couple Connector to the High Side Service Port of the auto air conditioner.
2. Connect the Blue Quick Couple Connector to the Low Side Service Port of the auto air conditioner.
3. Disconnect the R-134a cylinder from the yellow charging hose and connect an auxiliary vacuum pump.
4. Open both gauge valves and both connector shut off valves.
5. Start vacuum pump.
6. After evacuating the system according to manufacturer’s specifications, close both valves on the gauge
and both valves on the
connector and turn off vacuum pump.
7. Disconnect vacuum pump from yellow charging hose and connect R-134a cylinder.
CAUTION: ALWAYS LEAVE ALL VALVES IN THE CLOSED POSITION WHEN NOT IN USE.

RECOMMENDED PROCEDURES. ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES AND PROTECTIVE EYE WEAR.
INSTRUCCIONES:
PARA ENSAMBLAR EL JUEGO DE MANÓMETROS, MANGUERAS Y
CONECTORES DE ACOPLAMIENTO RÁPIDO
1. Anexe la Manguera Roja al ajuste del lado derecho en el manómetro.
2. Anexe la Manguera Azul al ajuste del lado izquierdo en el manómetro.
3. Anexe la Manguera Amarilla al ajuste del centro en el manómetro.
4. Anexe el Conector de Acoplamiento Rápido Azul al otro extremo o lado de la manguera azul.
5. Anexe el Conector de Acoplamiento Rápido Rojo al otro extremo o lado de la manguera roja.
6. Asegúrese de que tanto las válvulas de los manómetros como las válvulas de cierre en los conectores estén
todas en posición de cierre. Para cerrar las válvulas de cierre vire en dirección de reloj hasta que queden
perpendiculares con la manguera.
7. Conecte el cilindro R-134a a la manguera amarilla de recargar.
CÓMO REVISAR LA PRESIÓN FUNCIONAL
1. Conecte el Conector Rojo de Acoplamiento Rápido al Puerto de Servicio de Lado Alto del aire
acondicionado del auto.
2. Conecte el Conector Azul de Acoplamiento Rápido al Puerto de Servicio de Lado Bajo del aire
acondicionado del auto.
3. Arranque el motor. Coloque el aire acondicionado en la posición de máximo
enfriamiento.
4. Abra la válvula de cierre del conector tanto en el lado alto como el lado bajo.
5. Observe las lecturas de presión. Revise el manual de servicio para obtener las presiones apropiadas de
funcionamiento
PARA AGREGAR EL REFRIGERANTE 134a DESPUÉS DE REVISAR LA PRESIÓN
FUNCIONAL
1. Abra tanto la Válvula Azul del Lado Bajo en el manómetro y la válvula de cierre Azul del Conector de
Acoplamiento Rápido.
2. Agregue el refrigerante 134a mediante la manguera amarilla al abrir la válvula dispensadora en el cilindro
o lata.
PARA EVACUAR CON LA BOMBA ASPIRADORA AUXILIAR
1. Conecte el Conector Rojo de Acoplamiento Rápido al Puerto de Servicio de Lado Alto del aire
acondicionado.
2. Conecte el Conector Azul de Acoplamiento Rápido al Puerto de Servicio de Lado Bajo del aire
acondicionado.
3. Desconecte el cilindro de R-134a de la manguera amarilla de recargar y conecte una bomba aspiradora
auxiliar.
4. Abra las válvulas de ambos manómetros y ambas válvulas de cierre de conector.
5. Arranque la bomba aspiradora.
6. Después de evacuar el sistema conforme las especificaciones del fabricante, cierre ambas válvulas en el
manómetro y ambas válvulas en el conector y apague la bomba aspiradora.
7. Desconecte la bomba aspiradora de la manguera amarilla de recargar y conecte el cilindro de R-134a.
ADVERTENCIA: SIEMPRE DEJE TODAS LAS VÁLVULAS EN LA POSICIÓN DE CIERRE
CUANDO NO ESTÉN EN USO. CONSULTE EL MANUAL DE SERVICIO DEL FABRICANTE PARA
EL EQUIPO U HOJA DE INSTRUCCIÓN PARA PROCEDIMIENTOS RECOMENDADOS. SIEMPRE
USE GUANTES Y GAFAS PROTECTORAS PARA LOS OJOS.
