QUICK START GUIDE

Unpack the box and check the items below:

Copy this template and place it onto the wall.
Install the screws.
If you mount the unit on a concrete or mortar wall, place
the anchor plugs flush to the wall with a hammer beforehand.
Hook the unit onto the screw heads.

Using Wall Mounting Template opposite fix to wall using screws and washers supplied.

Loosen the screw (Fig 1) - Note : The screw can not be removed from the cover

Press both arrows at the same time to open the cover (Fig 2).

All JACKS are now visible - refer to (Fig 3) for detail.

This system is designed for wall mounting only. Avoid installing in the following places.
(Doing so may result in malfunction, noise, or discoloration)
1. In direct sunlight and hot, cold, or humid places. (Temperature range 0ºC ~ 40ºC {32ºF ~ 104ºF})
2. Sulfuric gases produced in areas where there are thermal springs, etc. may damage the equipment or contacts.
3. Places in which shocks or vibrations are frequent or strong.
4. Dusty places, or places where water or oil may come into contact with the system.
5. Near high-frequency generating devices such as sewing machines or electric welders.
6. On or near computers, telexes, or other office equipment, as well as microwave ovens or air conditioners.
(It is preferable not to install the system in the same room with the above equipment.)
7. Install at least 1.8 m {6 feet} away from radios and televisions.
(Both the system and Panasonic proprietary telephones)
8. Do not obstruct area around the system
(for reasons of maintenance and inspection - be especially careful to allow space for cooling above
and at the sides of the system).

Before installing or initial programming, the following INITIALIZATION procedure must be carried out:
(a) Plug the AC power cord into the system and AC outlet.
(b) Connect a KX-TA30830 telephone to JACK 01
(c) Turn the Power Switch on. (The power indicator will light.)
(d) Press the "PROGRAM" button on the telephone.
(e) Enter X #
(f) Enter the system password, 1234.
(g) Enter 999 (System Data Clear).
(h) Press NEXT (SP-PHONE button).
(i) Keep pressing SELECT (AUTO ANSWER/MUTE button) until "All Para" is displayed.
(j) Press STORE (AUTO DIAL/STORE button).
(k) Press END (HOLD button).
(l) Press the "PROGRAM" button on the telephone.
(m) Power OFF the system, and Power it back on.
Your system is now initialized and ready for programming.
Note:if the telephone connected to JACK 01 does not work properly, or entered system
password is not accepted, refer to the 2.9 System Data Clear section of the CD-ROM installation manual and initialize
the system .

Usando la plantilla para montaje en pared, fije la unidad a la pared mediante los tornillos y arandelas suministrados.

Afloje el tornillo (Fig. 1). Nota: El tornillo no puede retirarse de la cubierta.
4.
Presione ambas flechas al mismo tiempo para abrir la cubierta (Fig. 2).
5.
Ahora todas las TOMAS quedan visibles. Consulte la Fig. 3 para más detalles.

El sistema está diseñado exclusivamente para su montaje en pared. Evite instalarlo en los siguientes lugares.

1. En lugares calientes, fríos, húmedos o expuestos a la luz directa del sol. Rango de temperaturas: 0 ºC ~ 40 ºC
(32 ºF ~ 104 ºF).
2. Los gases sulfúricos producidos en zonas donde haya aguas termales, etc. pueden dañar el equipo o los
contactos.
3. Lugares sometidos a golpes o vibraciones fuertes o frecuentes.
4. Lugares polvorientos o lugares en los que el sistema pueda entrar en contacto con agua o aceite.
5. Cerca de dispositivos de generación de alta frecuencia como máquinas de coser o soldadoras eléctricas.
6. Cerca de computadoras, máquinas de télex u otros equipos de oficina, además de hornos microondas o
acondicionadores de aire. Es preferible no instalar el sistema en la misma habitación que los equipos que se
acaban de mencionar.
7. Instálelo al menos a 1,8 m (6 pies) de distancia de radios y televisores
(tanto el sistema como los teléfonos de Panasonic).
8. No coloque obstáculos en la zona de alrededor del sistema (por razones de mantenimiento e inspección).
Tenga especial cuidado en dejar espacio por encima y por los lados del sistema, para que pueda enfriarse.

(a) Conecte el cable de alimentación de CA al sistema y a la toma de CA.
(b) Conecte el teléfono KX-TA30830 a la TOMA 01.
(c) Encienda el aparato con el interruptor de encendido (se iluminará el indicador de encendido).
(d) Presione el botón "PROGRAM" del teléfono.
(e) Teclee X #.
(f) Teclee la contraseña del sistema: 1234.
(g) Teclee 999 (borrado de los datos del sistema).
(h) Presione NEXT (botón SP-PHONE).
(i) Siga presionando SELECT (botón AUTO ANSWER/MUTE) hasta que se muestre "All Para".
(j) Presione STORE (botón AUTO DIAL/STORE).
(k) Presione END (botón HOLD).
(l) Presione el botón "PROGRAM" del teléfono.
(m) Apague la unidad y vuelva a encenderla.
El sistema ya está inicializado y listo para su programación.
