Dear valued Contec® customer,
Please note, Contec is updating packaging, case labeling, and Safety Data Sheets (formerly MSDSs) for
all solvents, presaturated wipes, and disinfectants to comply with the Globally Harmonized System of
Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). These modifications will allow for an internationally
standardized approach to hazard communication and classification.
Beginning in July, you will notice the following changes:
PROSAT® Sterile™ Presaturated Wipes and PROSAT® Presaturated Wipes
• New product labels
• Added artwork for proper bag opening
• Updated multilingual warning text with new pictograms
Contec® Sterile 70% Isopropanol and Contec® Isopropanol
• New multilingual product labels with bar code on the product
SATWipes® Presaturated Wipes
• New multilingual warning label
Note: New labels will follow the current Contec color scheme. Teal represents sterile and blue represents nonsterile products. Please note this is an artwork change only; products and packaging materials remain the same.
Updated Safety Data Sheets
In compliance with GHS, Contec is designing a new Safety Data Sheet (SDS) format that includes an
updated layout and significantly improved product information. It features GHS Pictograms, Signal Word,
GHS Classification, Precautionary Statements, and Emergency Overview. Additionally, the NFPA and HMIS
classifications are shown as well as the superseded Canadian WHMIS symbols.

Mode D’emploi : Enlever la bouteille et le diffuseur des sachets. Enlever la capsule, percer l'opercule
avec le diffuseur et installez le sur la bouteille. Ouvrir la valve avant utilisation.
