INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
ATTACHING AND USING THE HIDDEN NEEDLE COVER
The Hidden Needle Cover allows you the option to inject with the Needle hidden from view. Be sure
the Pen is set up per the Pen user manual instructions.

Be sure the Pen Cap is removed. Attach a new Needle and remove the Outer Needle Shield
and Inner Needle Shield.
Confirm the Hidden Needle Cover is in the locked
position. If not, lock the Hidden Needle Cover by
turning, not pushing, the Slider, positioning the
Guide Post within the Guide Channel, as shown.

Insert Cartridge with Needle attached straight into
the Hidden Needle Cover until it stops. Dial the Pen
to your usual dose.
Unlock the Hidden Needle Cover by rotating the
Slider clockwise until the Hidden Needle Cover is in
the unlocked position, with the Guide Post located
within the Guide Channel, as shown. To avoid
Needle sticks, be careful not to push the Slider
in after it is unlocked.
UNLOCKED
Inject the Humatrope dose as instructed by your
healthcare professional. First insert the Needle at a
90° angle by pushing into the skin. The Slider will
move over the Hidden Needle Cover Body as the
Needle is inserted.
Then press the Injection Button. The Hidden Needle
Cover will automatically lock as you remove the
Needle from the skin.

Confirm that the Hidden Needle Cover has returned
to the locked position. Carefully pull the Hidden
Needle Cover straight off and remove it from the Pen.
Remove and dispose of the Needle as instructed by
your healthcare professional.
LOCKED
Replace the Pen Cap.
Soiled parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth. DO
NOT USE alcohol or other cleaning agents.

Le cache-aiguille vous permet de faire l’injection sans voir l’aiguille. Assurez-vous que le stylo est
réglé selon les instructions du manuel d’utilisation.

Enlevez le capuchon du stylo. Fixez une nouvelle aiguille et enlevez les capuchons externe
et interne de l’aiguille.
Assurez-vous que le cache-aiguille est verrouillé. S’il
ne l’est pas, verrouillez-le en tournant, sans pousser,
le curseur et en positionnant l’encoche dans le canal
de guidage comme illustré.

Insérez la cartouche avec l’aiguille en place
directement dans le cache-aiguille jusqu’au bout.
Tournez la bague de dosage jusqu’à votre dose
habituelle.
Déverrouillez le cache-aiguille en tournant le curseur
dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à ce
que l’encoche soit dans le canal de guidage comme
illustré. Veillez à ne pas pousser le curseur une fois
qu’il est déverrouillé afin d’éviter les piqûres avec
l’aiguille.
DÉVERROUILLÉ
Injectez la dose d’Humatrope selon les directives
de votre professionnel de la santé. Insérez l’aiguille
dans la peau à un angle de 90°. Le curseur bougera
sur le corps du cache-aiguille à mesure que l’aiguille
est insérée.
Puis appuyez sur le bouton d’injection. Le
cache-aiguille se verrouillera automatiquement
quand vous retirerez l’aiguille de la peau.

Assurez-vous que le cache-aiguille est verrouillé.
Faites soigneusement glisser le cache-aiguille en un
seul mouvement et retirez-le du stylo.
Enlevez et jetez l’aiguille selon les instructions de
votre professionnel de la santé.
Remettez le capuchon sur le stylo.
Les parties sales peuvent être nettoyées avec un
chiffon humide. N’UTILISEZ PAS d’alcool ni d’autres
agents nettoyants.
