User Manual
The AD262 bike pod is equipped with the latest Bluetooth
Smart technology to achieve reliable transmission linkage
with sports system device that is with the logo
and
corresponding application.
•
Do not tamper with the internal components. Doing so will
terminate the product warranty and may cause damage.
The main unit contains no user-serviceable parts.

The package should include the following items:
The AD262 bike pod can be paired with your Bluetooth Smart
sports system device to provide speed / cadence readings.
The bike pod has a maximum transmission range of about
100 centimeters (40 inches).
To pair with Oregon Scientific Bluetooth Smart device (such
as SE900 or RA900 Ssmart Watch), please refer to the
particular pairing instructions in the User Manual.
PAIR WITH OREGON SCIENTIFIC
BLUETOOTH SMART SPORTS SYSTEM DEVICE
1 x AD262 bike pod
(1 x Silicon rubber cushion and
1 x CR2032 3V lithium battery installed)
NOTE While pairing, make sure to stay away from other
devices and move the bike pod to pair close to your main device.
NOTE If pairing is weak and unstable:
1 x Cadence magnet 1 x Speed magnet 4 x Nylon cable ties

Shorten the distance between the bike pod and your
sports device.
•
Re-adjust the position of the device.
•
Check the battery. Make replacement when necessary.
If the sports device is already paired with a bike pod, you
have to first delete the bike pod before you are able to pair
with another bike pod.

INSTALLING THE BIKE POD

Unscrew magnet and press slot
onto spoke.
Tighten the screw with a
screwdriver. Make sure the
flat magnet surface facing the
speed sensor.
Position speed sensor onto the
top of bicycle chain stay. Using
alignment notch as a guide
to adjust the sensor and the
magnet, so the magnet passes
the sensor at the correct position.
Thread a nylon cable tie through
each of the holes on the sensor.
Loop cable tie around the
bicycle chain stay, then thread
the end through the opening
and past the ratchet. Pull to
secure into place.
TIPS Cut away unnecessary cable tie to avoid it being
caught in the wheel while in motion.
NOTE Improper alignment may affect speed sensor’s performance.

Bicycle fork hole
Choose the crank arm which
is not on the same side as the
chain ring. Place magnet (with
plastic base) onto the crank arm
of the pedal, making sure the
magnet faces the chain ring.
Thread a nylon cable tie through
the hole on the magnet. Loop
cable tie around the crank arm
then thread the end through the
opening and past the ratchet.
Pull to secure into place.
Position the cadence sensor on
the bicycle chain stay. Align it
with the magnet’s path. Adjust
the position by stretching the
elastic connection cord.
Using a nylon cable tie on the
cadence sensor. Loop cable tie
around the chain stay then thread the end through the
opening and past the ratchet. Pull to secure into place.
TIPS Cut away unnecessary cable tie to avoid it being
caught in the wheel while in motion.
NOTE Improper alignment may affect cadence sensor’s
performance.

REMOVE PAIRED DEVICE
To remove the bike pod from your device, please refer to the
particular pairing instructions in the User Manual.
REPLACE BATTERY
Please replace battery promptly as it may affect
the accuracy of the readings.
To replace the sensor battery:
1. Use a coin to open the battery compartment
lid by turning it anticlockwise.
2. Remove the old battery and insert a new
CR2032, 3V lithium battery. Make sure
to place the battery in the compartment
following the polarity +/-.

電池交換
電池寿命は、毎日1時間のご使用で15か月にな
ります。Low battery(ローバッテリー)の表示が
腕時計に現れたらAD262の電池を交換してくだ
さい。
1. 硬貨を使い、反時計周りに回し、電池蓋を開
けてください。
備考 必要の無いタイケーブルは絡まる可能性があります
ので、切り落としてください。
2. 古い電池を取り出して、新しいCR2032
3Vリチウム電池を元の電池の向きと同じよ
うに挿入してください。
注意 不適切な据え付けは、測定精度に影響を与える可能性が
あります。
