A “Blow Out”, although highly unlikely, is when the product erupts from the filled hole at a high velocity and can cause injury. In order to avoid “Blow Out” take the following pre-cautions: 1. Dust mask is recommended in poorly ventilated areas such as tunnels. * Do not look into the filled holes or stand over them at any time, blowouts if occurs can cause injury. * Do not go to the hole if blow out occurs, as multiple ones may occur. * Do not leave excess product in the bucket. * Cover holes with a tarp once filled. * Stay out of the area where holes have been filled for 7 hours. * When mixing, if the product begins to steam in the bucket, add water to dilute it. * Product is alkaline and reaches PH 13 after contact with water.
