Mirror Balls

Location: Place the unit (Mirror Ball Motor) on a ceiling. Assure the stability of the ball.
Warning: Depending on the nature of the ceiling on which the unit is placed,
the normal heating of the unit may cause ceiling to fade.
Cleaning: Remove the plug-in power supply from the socket before cleaning the
device. Clean the device with a dry cloth.
Safety instructions: • Do not allow the unit to overheat. Allow adequate ventilation around the base.
Never place it near or over a radiator, fire place or other source of heat. • Never remove the bottom cover
of the unit, or attempt to remove the mirror ball. • Keep out of reach of children and pets. • Always operate
the mirror disco lamp on a firm, stationary ceiling, and at room temperature. Do not operate on a warm
ceiling. • Do not plug into a power source with wrong specific electrical outlet. If the system is not going to
be used for a length period of time, unplug it from the power source.
Caution: To prevent electric shock, do not attempt to dismantle this product. There are no user
serviceable parts inside. Do not attempt to remove the mirror ball. Refer servicing to qualified service
personnel. • Indoor Use only ! • Keep Mirror Ball dry • Keep away from Children and Animals
Installation: • Have the device installed by a qualified person, respecting EN 60598-2-17 and all other
applicable norms • The construction to which the device is attached should be able to support 10 times the
weight of the device for one hour without deformation. The installation area should be able to hold a
minimum point load of 30 kg • If possible the installation must be secured with a secondary attachment e.g.
a safety cable or safety net • Install the device in a location with few passers-by that is inaccessible to
unauthorized persons • Overhead mounting requires extensive experience: calculating workload limits,
determining the installation material to be used… Do not attempt to install the device yourself if you lack
these qualifications as improper installation may result in injuries. Never stand directly below the device
when it is being mounted, removed or serviced. Have a qualified technician check the device once a year
and once before you bring it into service. • Have a qualified electrician carry out the electric connection •
The installation has to be approved by an expert before the device is taken into service • For 30 cm (12")
mirror balls, use mains powered mirror ball motor • Make sure the rotating mirror ball is never slowed down or
stopped by decoration material etc. Make sure no side forces can impact on the installation.
Manufacturer / Supplier will not be liable in the event that personal injury or consequential damage results from failure
to observe these safety guidelines and the incorrect use of the device.
