User Guide – Running Flickr slideshows and YouTube videos in full-screen
mode
So you’ve found some great pictures or a video of your favourite artist on OpenMicJam.co.uk, but your
eyesight’s not what it used to be. Worry not, because Flickr slideshows and YouTube videos can both be
shown in full-screen mode. Here’s how.
Running Flickr Slideshows In Full-screen Mode
1. Select a slideshow from any of the pages in www.openmicjam.co.uk that show media files. Select by
clicking on the thumbnail or the link provided
2. The Showmedia page will be displayed with the slideshow ready to run. Click the start button to start the
slideshow

3. When the slideshow is running click on the Maximize button at the far right of the toolbar
4. The slideshow will now run in full-screen mode. Click the Minimize button or hit the Esc key to return to
normal mode
Running YouTube Videos In Full-screen Mode
1. Select a video from any of the pages in www.openmicjam.co.uk that show media files. Select by clicking
on the thumbnail or the link provided

2. The Showmedia page will be displayed with the video ready to run. Click the start button to start the video
3. Click on the Maximize button to run the video in full-screen mode

4. The video will now run in full-screen mode. Click on the Minimize button or hit the Esc key to return to
normal mode. Depending on the quality of the original recording, you may also be able to improve the play
back quality by clicking on the resolution button.
