Copyright for the Cost Calculator has been assigned to Loughborough University
Enterprises Limited and as such is protected by copyright laws. Intellectual Property
rights remain with the Centre for Child and Family Research (CCFR) at
Loughborough University. The Cost Calculator and all accompanying documentation
are supplied subject to the following conditions:
a) The Implementation Version of the Cost Calculator shall be used by the
Licensee only, and the Demonstration Version of the Cost Calculator shall be
used for review only. The Cost Calculator must not be sold, loaned, hired,
given or otherwise made available to any third party.
b) The Licensee may not (i) permit other individuals to use the Cost Calculator;
(ii) modify, translate, reverse engineer, de-compile, disassemble or create
derivative works based upon the Cost Calculator or documentation; (iii) copy
the Cost Calculator or the User Guide.
c) The Cost Calculator was developed as part of a research study and therefore
CCFR cannot provide a warranty of any kind that it will be free of faults,
omissions, errors or ‘bugs’.
d) CCFR accept no responsibility for any claims, demands, proceedings,
damages, costs charges and expenses whatsoever, however arising out of or
in connection with or as a consequence of the Licensee’s use of the Cost
Calculator.
e) The Licensee shall not assign, transfer, mortgage, charge or part with any of
its rights, duties, or obligations granted hereby and herein.
