Downloads
The following programs are required and have to be downloaded and installed if not
already available:
• MikteX, but only the basic version (http://www.miktex.org/)
• TeXnicCenter (http://www.texniccenter.org/)
• PDF Reader (for example AdobeReader)

Settings
Open TeXnicCenter and follow the installation guide:
• The file required, when you are asked to specify a TeX-program is called latex.exe and can be found in C:\XXX\miktex\bin\latex.exe
• Furthermore it is important to choose YES when you are asked if you want
the program to install packages automatically!
• When you are done with the installation guide you have to apply the following
settings in → Build → Define Output Profiles:
