INSTALLATION MANUAL USB GAS INSPECTOR Rev. 1.30 –
(Win 2000 / XP / Vista / Win 7, both 32 and 64 Bit-version)

STEP 1:
1. Extract the zip file „GasSetup1.30.zip“ to a local folder.
2. Start setup.exe:
Attention: Under Windows Vista as well Windows 7 click first right mouse and start program
installation as an administrator!
Start the Set-up file “setup.exe” and press “Installation starten” or “continue”
The software will identify the Operating System automatically. The program will be installed
under Programs / Solidsense / GasInspector V1.30

3. Press “Weiter” or “Continue”
4. You have to accept the licence contract – “weiter” or “continue”

5. Use your user name and enter your organisation. Normally it suggests the right user name.
Select the upper selection (Jeden, der diesen Computer verwendet (alle Benutzer)), than
“weiter” or “continue”
6. Now press “Installieren” or “Install”. The program will be installed that might takes some
minutes. If Windows ask to continue as this is not a Microsoft program, please allow to
continue.

7. Now press “Fertigstellen” or “Finalize”
STEP 2:
Plug in the Gas inspector stick into an USB Slot you want to use the sensor.
You will get the message – New hardware was found –
Start the Gas Inspector program
Attention: Under Vista as well Win 7 the program has always to be started as an Administrator:
Desktop Link > Right mouse -> click on "als Administrator ausführen"!
Î OK Windows will ask again if you are sure with continuing to start the program, because it is not
Microsoft software.
