Bevor Sie das Gerät zum ersten mal in Betrieb nehmen, stellen Sie sicher dass das Geräte keine
Transportschäden aufweist. Bei Transportschäden wenden Sie sich an Ihren Fachhändler und
benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht.
Um das Gerät sicher und mit voller Leistung betreiben zu können, ist es wichtig das der Nutzer sich
an die in diesem Handbuch beschriebenen Warn- und Sicherheitshinweise hält.
Bitte beachten Sie, das Schäden - die durch Modifizierungen durch den Benutzer entstehennicht Teil der Gewährleistung sind.

• Lassen Sie das Stromkabel nicht in Kontakt mit anderen Kabeln kommen. Behandeln Sie
das Stromkabel und alle Netzanschlüsse mit besonderer Vorsicht!
• Entfernen Sie keine Warnhinweise oder informative Aufkleber von dem Gerät.
• Öffnen Sie das Gerät nicht und nehmen Sie keine Änderungen an dem Gerät vor.
• Schließen Sie das Gerät nicht an eine Dimmer an.
• Schalten Sie das Gerät nicht in kurzen Intervallen an und aus, da dies die Lebensdauer
verringert.

• Nicht brennbaren Materialien, Flüssigkeiten oder Gasen aussetzten.
• Immer Netzstecker ziehen, wenn das Gerät nicht in Benutzung ist oder gereinigt wird.
Stromkabel nur am Stecker herrausziehen.
Niemals am Stromkabel ziehen.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass die zur Verfügung stehende Spannung zwischen 220V/240V ist
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Stromkabel nicht gequetscht oder beschädigt ist.
Prüfen Sie das Gerät und das Stromkabel regelmäßig.
• Wenn das Gerät fallengelassen oder beschädigt wird, ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker.
Vor wieder Inbetriebnahme lassen Sie das Gerät durch einen Techniker prüfen.
• Ist die Anlage starken Temperatur-Schwankungen (z.B. nach Transport) ausgesetzt,
nicht sofort einschalten. Das dabei entstehende Kondenswasser könnte das Gerät
beschädigen. Lassen Sie das Gerät aus, bis es Zimmertemperatur erreicht hat.
• Wenn Ihr Produkt nicht ordnungsgemäß funktioniert, schalten Sie es sofort aus.
Verpacken Sie das Gerät sorgfältig (am besten in der Originalverpackung) und schicken
Sie es zu Ihrem Fachhändler.
• Benutzen Sie nur Sicherungen gleichen Typs.
• Reparaturen, Instandhaltung und Stromanschluss darf nur von einem Fachmann
durchgeführt werden . Im inneren befinden sich keine vom Nutzer reparierbaren Teile.
ORDNUNGSGEMÄSSE BENUTZUNG
Wenn dieses Gerät in irgendeiner anderen Weise betrieben wird, als in dieser
Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben, kann das Produkt beschädigt werden und die
Gewährleistung erlischt.
Falsche Bedienung kann zu Gefahr führen z. B.: Kurzschluss, Brand, elektrischer Schlag usw.

Brandgefahr
• Diese Maschine ist nur für Erwachsene und muss außerhalb der Reichweite von
Kindern montiert werden. Lassen Sie das Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
• Die Nebelmaschinen-Austoß ist sehr heiß. Vermeiden Sie es während dem Betrieb
näher als 60cm an die Düse zu kommen.
• Installieren Sie das Nebelgerät an einem gut belüfteten Ort. Decken Sie niemals die
Lüftungsschlitze des Geräts ab. Um ausreichend Belüftung zu gerwährleisten sollte an den
Seiten und über dem Gerät ein Freiraum von 20cm sein.
• Die Austrittsdüse niemals auf Flammen richten.
• Die Austrittsdüse wird während dem Betrieb sehr heiß (200°C). Brennbare Materialien müssen
mindestens 50 cm von der Düse entfernt sein.
• Lassen Sie Ihr Nebelgerät abkühlen, bevor Sie es reinigen.
Explosionsgefahr
• Verwenden Sie nur hochwertige, wasserbasierte Nebelfluide.
Andere Nebelfluide können zu Verstopfen oder "Spucken" führen.
• Wenn Ihr Nebelgerät einmal nicht mehr ordnungsgemäß arbeiten, schalten Sie es sofort ab.
Verpacken Sie das Gerät sorgfältig (am besten in der Originalverpackung) und schicken
Sie es mit entleerten Tank zu Ihrem Fachhändler.
• Trinken Sie niemals Nebelfluid.. Sollten Sie Nebelfluid verschlucken suchen Sie umgehend.

Aufbau
• Entfernen Sie alle Verpackungsmaterialien. Überprüfen Sie ,dass jeglicher Kunststoff entfernt
entfernt wurde speziell an der Düse.
• Platzieren Sie das Gerät auf eine ebene Oberfläche und entfernen Sie die Kappe des Tanks.
• Mit dem vom Händler empfohlenen Nebelfuid befüllen (wasserbasierend). Andere Fluids
können Schäden am Gerät hervorrufen. Nach dem Befüllen die Kappe wieder auf den Tank
schrauben. Achten Sie darauf, den maximalen Füllstand NICHT zu überschreiten.
• Schließen Sie die Fernbedienung auf der Rückseite des Geräts an.
Einleitung:
Der V-Fog bringt Nebel in neue Höhen! Diese neue Nebelmaschine schießt den Nebel vertikal
in die Luft. Die Maschine erzeugt eine dicke Wolke welche natürlich von der Decke zum Boden
sinkt. Mit 560m³ stößt diese vertikale Nebelmaschine genug Nebel aus um jede Bühne,
Nachtclub oder Tanzfläche einzunebeln. Das Nebelfluid befindet sich im 1,5 Liter großen Tank.
Das Aufwärmen dauert ca.5 Minuten.

Bedienung
• Füllen Sie vorsichtig das Nebelfluid in den Tank. NICHT ÜBERFÜLLEN!
• Schließen Sie die Fernbedienung an die Nebelmaschine an.
• Schließen Sie das Gerät an eine geerdete Steckdose an. Schalten Sie das Gerät ein.
Das Gerät braucht einige Zeit zum Aufwärmen. In dieser Zeit kann kein Nebel ausgestoßen
werden. Sobald das Gerät aufgewärmt ist Leuchtet der Tank blau.
• Nun können Sie nebeln.
Wichtig: Während dem Betrieb immer das Fluidlevel im Auge behalten.. Der Betrieb
des Geräts ohne Nebelfluid für zu Schäden!

Hinweise zur Leistung
• Jede Nebelmaschine entwickelt Kondensationen an der Austrittsdüse. Dies kann zu Feuchtigkeit
an und um das Gerät führen. Berücksichtigen Sie das bei der Installation des
Nebelgeräts.
• Es kann gelegentlich zum Ausstoß kleiner Nebelmengen kommen. Sowohl während dem Betrieb,
als auch einige Minuten nach dem Ausschalten.
• Alle Nebelgeräte brauchen nach Dauernebel eine kurze Zeit zum Nachheizen.
Während dieser Zeit kann kein Nebel erzeugt werden.
Wartung
Achten Sie darauf, dass das Nebelfluid nicht verunreinigt wird. Schließen Sie den Deckel
des Tanks sofort nach dem befüllen.
Alle Nebelgeräte sind anfällig für Verstopfungen durch die dicke Konsistenz von
Nebelfluid und der hohen Temperatur, bei der es verdampft. Allerdings sollte ein
regelmäßig gewartetes Nebelgerät Ihnen jahrelang treue Dienste leisten.

Der V-Fog benutzt 1 Kanal um den Nebelausstoß zu steuern. Die Kanal Werte sind von 0-255.
Timer-Funktionen wie Dauer und Intervall können über den DMX-Controller oder DMX-Software
programmiert werden.
Wenn der Kanal A auf einem Wert zwischen 0 und 5 steht, ist das Gerät AUS.
Zwischen 6 und 249, wird die Ausstoßmenge reguliert. Dabei ist 6 der geringste NebelAusstoß und 249 der höchste. Der Nebelausstoß steigt mit dem DMX Wert gleichmäßig an.
Wenn Kanal A auf einem Wert zwischen 250 un 255 steht, produziert das Gerät
den maximalen Nebelausstoß.
Beachte: Bei dem oben genannten Kanal A, entspricht A der über die DIPSCHALTER
eingestellten DMX Adresse.

Jedes Gerät belegt 1 Kanal. Um sicherzustellen, dass jedes Gerät das richtige Signal bekommt,
müssen diese adressiert werden. Dies machen Sie indem Sie DIP-Schalter wie in der unten
stehenden Tabelle einstellen.
Die Startadresse ist der erste Kanal, auf dem das Gerät auf Signale vom Controller reagiert.
Bitte stellen Sie sicher, das sich die Adressen nicht überlappen, damit jedes Gerät korrekt und
unabhängig gesteuert werden kann. Wenn mehrere Geräte die selbe Adresse haben, werden sie
parallel arbeiten.

HIGH VOLTAGE-RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!!
Before your initial start-up, please make sure that there is no damage caused during
transportation. Should there be any, consult your dealer and do not use the
equipment.
To maintain the equipment in good working condition and to ensure safe operation, it is necessary
for the user to follow the safety instructions and warning notes written in this manual.
Please note that damages caused by user modi?cations to this equipment are not
subject to warranty.

IMPORTANT:
The manufacturer will not accept liability for any resulting damages caused
by the non-observance of this manual or any unauthorised modi?cation to the
equipment.
• Never let the power-cable come into contact with other cables. Handle the power-cable
and all mains voltage connections with particular caution!
• Never remove warning or informative labels from the equipment.
• Do not open the equipment and do not modify the equipment.
• Do not connect this equipment to a dimmer-pack.
• Do not switch the equipment on and off in short intervals, as this will reduce the
system’s life.
• Only use the equipment indoors.
• Do not expose to ?ammable sources, liquids or gases.
• Always disconnect the power from the mains when equipment is not in use or before
cleaning! Only handle the power-cable by the plug. Never pull out the plug by pulling the
power-cable.
• Make sure that the available voltage is between 220v/240v.
• Make sure that the power-cable is never crimped or damaged. Check the equipment and
the power-cable periodically.
• If the equipment is dropped or damaged, disconnect the mains power supply immediately.
Have a quali?ed engineer inspect the equipment before operating again.
• If the equipment has been exposed to drastic temperature ?uctuation (e.g. after
transportation), do not switch it on immediately. The arising condensation might damage
the equipment. Leave the equipment switched off until it has reached room temperature.
• If your product fails to function correctly, discontinue use immediately. Pack the unit
securely (preferably in the original packing material), and return it to your PTL dealer
for service.
• Only use fuses of same type and rating.
• Repairs, servicing and power connection must only be carried out by a quali?ed
technician. THIS UNIT CONTAINS NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS.
OPERATING DETERMINATIONS
If this equipment is operated in any other way, than those described in this manual,
the product may suffer damage and the warranty becomes void.
Incorrect operation may lead to danger e.g.: short-circuit, burns, electric shocks,
lamp failure etc.

Danger of Burns
• This machine is for adult use only and must be installed out of the reach of children. Never leave
the unit running unattended.
• The fog machine output is very hot. Avoid coming within 60cm of the output nozzle
during operation.
• Locate the fog machine in a well-ventilated area. Never cover the unit’s vents. In order to
guarantee adequate ventilation, allow a free air space of at least 20cm around the sides and
top of the unit.
• Never aim the output nozzle at open ?ames.
• The output nozzle becomes very hot during operation (200°C). Keep ?ammable materials at
least 50cm away from the nozzle.
• Always allow your fog machine to cool down before attempting to clean it.
Danger of Explosion
• Use only high-quality, water based fog ?uid that your dealer recommends. Other fog ?uids may
cause clogging or “spitting”.
• If your fog machine fails to work properly, discontinue use immediately. Drain all fog ?uid from
the tank, pack the unit securely (preferably in the original packaging material) and return it to
your dealer for service.
• Never drink fog ?uid. If it is ingested, call a doctor immediately. If the ?uid comes into
contact with skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
Note: Pay attention to all warning labels and instructions printed on the exterior of the
fog machine
Set up
• Remove all packing materials from the shipping carton. Check that all foam and plastic padding
is removed, especially around the nozzle.
• Place the fog machine on a ?at surface and remove the fog ?uid tank cap.
• Fill with high quality, water based fog ?uid recommended by your dealer. Any other types of ?uid
can damage the unit resulting in spitting and serious clogging. When ? lled, place the cap
back on the ?uid tank. Be careful not to exceed the maximum ?uid level. DO NOT OVERFILL.
• Firmly attach the remote control module cable to the connector on the rear of the machine.
Introduction:
The V-Fog takes fog to a new Height! This new fogger ?res straight up in the air leaving the
fog just where you want it. This high ?ring fogger creates a thick cloud of smoke that naturally falls
from the ceiling to the ?oor. Outputting 20,000 cubic feet per minute this vertical volcano produces
enough fog to cover any stage, nightclub or dance ?oor. Fluid is provided from a 1.5 ltr tank and
initial warm up only takes around 5 minutes.

Operation
• Add ?uid carefully to the liquid tank. Do not over?ll the tank.
• Plug the remote control into the socket marked remote control on the back of the machine.
• Plug the power cable into a grounded electrical socket. Turn the power switch to ON at the back
of the machine. The unit will take a few minutes to warm up the heater, during this time the
machine will not generate fog.
• To emit fog press the button on the remote.
Important: Always monitor the tank ?uid level as you are fogging. Running a fog machine
with no ?uid can permanently damage the unit.

Performance Note
• All fog machines develop condensation around the output nozzle, this may result in some
moisture accumulation on the surface below the output nozzle. Please consider this when
installing your unit.
• All fog machines may sputter small amounts of fog occasionally during operation and for a
minute or so after being turned off.
• All fog machines have a recycling period after long bursts when the machine will shut itself down
for a short period in order to heat up again. During this time no fog can be produced.
Maintenance
Do not allow the fog ?uid to become contaminated. Always replace the cap on the fog ?uid
container and the fog machine liquid tank immediately after ?lling.
All fog machines are prone to clogging due to the thick consistancy of fog liquid and the high
temperature at which it vaporizes. However, a properly maintained fog machine should provide
years of reliable use.

The V-Fog uses 1 channel to control smoke output. This channel has a value range of 0-255.
Timer functions such as duration and interval can be programmed using the DMX controller or
DMX control software.
If channel A has a value from 0 to 5, the unit is OFF
Between the values 6 to 249, the volume of fog output is regulated. With 6 being the minimum
amount of fog produced and 249 approaching the maximum. The fog output rises as the DMX
value is increased.
If Channel A has a value from 250 to 255, the machine will operate at maximum output.
Note: In the example above, if the machine were assigned the DMX address of 124, Channel A
would correspond to DMX address 124

DMX Settings
Each unit occupies 1 Channel . To ensure that the control signals are properly directed to each
unit, they require addressing. This is to be set for every single unit by changing the Dip Switches
as set out in the table below.
The starting address is de?ned as the ?rst channel from which the unit will respond to the
controller.
Please make sure that you do not have any overlapping channels in order to control each unit
correctly and independently from any other ?xture on the DMX data link. If two, three or more units
are addressed similarly, they will work similarly.
