Wasp and Hornet Killer Instructions For the control of paper wasp, yellow jackets and hornets. Active ingredients: by wt. D-Limonene…………………………1.000% Pyrethrins…………………………...0.050% Potassium Salts of Fatty Acids…1.000% Other ingredients……………………….97.950% Total………………………………………100.000% Directions for use: It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. How to Use: Shake well before each use. Insect pests must be directly sprayed to be killed. Apply Safer Brand Wasp & Hornet Killer Aerosol at dusk or early morning when wasps, hornets and yellow jackets are least active. Stand approximately 12-15 feet from the nest at a safe location with the wind to your back Hold can upright, aim nozzle at nest, depress actuator, and spray upward into nest opening. Continue spraying until nest is completely saturated. Wait at least 24 hours before attempting to remove the nest. If wasps or hornets are still active in the area around the nest, repeat treatment. This product is non-staining to most surfaces. Do not use on surfaces that may be damaged by water. If unsure, first treat an inconspicuous area and check in a few hours for staining or damage. Environmental Hazards: This product is toxic to fish. For terrestrial uses, do not apply directly to water or to areas where surface water is present or to intertidal area below the mean high water mark. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwaters. Remover or cover fish aquarium in the area being treated. Physical or Chemical Hazards: Contents under pressure. Do not use or store near heat or open flame. Do not puncture or incinerate container. Exposure to temperatures above 130°F may cause container to burst. Do not apply this waterbased product to conduits, motor housings, junction and switch boxes or other electrical equipment due to the possible shock hazards. Do not use on surfaces that may be damaged by water. Storage and Disposal: Storage: Keep in locked storage area. Store in a cool dry place, away from heat, sparks and open flame. Do not store at temperatures over 130°F. Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage and disposal. Disposal: Do Not Puncture or Incinerate! If empty: Place in the trash or offer for recycling if possible. If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions.
