Pre-Plumbed Laundry / Sink Tray System
Ready To Install
Installation Instructions
1. Use caution when opening the carton so you do not damage the
unit,
2. Inlet Connection - Install an 1-1/2 in. PVC Schedule 40
threaded male adapter into the basins inlet hole as shown. This
is the hole on the side of the lid. Use Teflon tape, silicon sealant
or plumber's pipe dope to seal the threads.
3. Connect the inlet piping to the 1-1/2 in. PVC Schedule 40
threaded male adapter using PVC primer and solvent cement to
properly seal the connection.
4. Referto Figures 2, 3 and 4 for typical installations configura-
tions.
5. Discharge Connection - Install an 1-1/2 in. PVC Schedule 40
threaded male adapter into the sump pumps discharge hole as
shown, Make sure that it is the sump pump discharge and
not the vent port. Use Teflon tape, silicon sealant or plumber’s
pipe dope to seal the threads.
6. Connect discharge pipe to the 1-122 in. PVC Schedule 40
threaded male adapter using PVC primer and solvent cement to
properly seal the connection. We suggest that a union be in-
stalled on this line to allow for easy pump service or removal.
7. Vent Connection - Install an 1-1/2 in. PVC Schedule 40
threaded male adapter into the vent hole as shown. Use Teflon
tape, silicon sealant or plumber's pipe dope to seal the threads.
8. Connect vent pipe to the 1-122 in. PVC Schedule 40 threaded
male adapter using PVC primer and solvent cement to properly
seal the connection. Connect the vent pipe to the sewer's vent
system. Once again, we suggest that a union be installed on this
line to allow for easy pump service or removal,
9. Testthe system by filling the basin with water and running the
pump through a complete cycle.
ZN WARNING AN Risk of electrical shock. Do not handle pump or
pump motor with wet hands. If basement floor is wet, do not
walk on wet area until all power is turned off. If shut-off box is in
basement, call the electric company to shut off service to the
house, or call your local fire department for instructions. Re-
move pump and repair or replace. Failure to follow this warning
can result in fatal electrical shock.
Always electrically ground pump motor to a suitable electrical
ground such as a grounded water pipe or a properly grounded
metallic raceway system, or to a ground wire system.
Do not cut round grounding prong off of plug.
Unplug pump before attempting to service or remove any
component.
Install according to local and national electrical codes.
AN WARNING AN Do not use in explosive atmospheres. Pump
water only with this pump. Failure to follow this waming can
result in personal injury and/or property damage.

A WARNING A To prevent lint from the washing machine’s
discharge from clogging the pump and causing a flood, cover the
end of the discharge hose with a nylon stocking or a filter.
