Word Wall
Tri-Fold Pocket Chart
Great for your Classroom!
The Word Wall is a perfect addition to your classroom. The board is
completely write-on/wipe-off, allowing for flexibility in its use, and the
engaging design makes it relevant all year long.
*Note: Use with a dry- or wet-erase marker. When cleaning off wet-erase
marks, avoid saturating the board with water or cleaning solution
to prevent warping.
The Word Wall can be incorporated into pre-existing classroom activities
such as: centers, circle time, small-group activities, or reading resource
rooms.
Suggested ways to use the Word Wall Tri-Fold:
• Write the spelling words of the week under the correct letter.
• Call out specific words in a reading activity and write them on
the board.
• Add vocabulary words that are being introduced.
• Have each student think of a special word to use in their writing
and write those words on the board.
Make sure that all words on the Word Wall are spelled correctly. Refer to
it as much as possible, so students get in the habit of using it as a tool.
No matter how the Word Wall Tri-Fold is used, it is sure to be an asset
to your classroom!
