Service of air conditioning systems must be done only by trained and experienced technician. Technicians opening refrigeration circuit in automotive air conditioning systems MUST be certified in refrigerant recovery and recycling procedures in compliance with section 609 of Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990. Select the correct size connector by matching tool’s inner lip to diameter of spring or open side of fitting. Fitting Inner Lip Figure A 2. Slip connector over line with inner lip facing spring or open line fitting. See Fig. A, above. Press inner lip of connector into line fitting until it “clicks” into place as line releases. 3.
