thetoiletseatriserisnotproperlyassembledandinstalled,personalinjuryanddamagetothetoiletseatrisercouldresult.
WARNING:Ifcomponentsaredamagedormissing,contactyour
dealerimmediately.DONOTusesubstituteparts.UseonlyLumex
replacementparts.Non-Lumexreplacementpartscouldcausepersonalinjuryanddamagetothetoiletseatriser.

INSTALLATION
1. Removetoiletseatriser,hardware,andarmrestsfromcartonandprotectivepackaging.
2. Installthearmrestswiththefollowingsteps:

a. IdentifytherightandleftarmrestsbytheR(Right)andL(Left)
stampedintoarmrestends.
b. NotethateachtoiletseatriserarmrestsocketisalsostampedwithanR
orL,asshownatright.InserteacharmrestmarkedwithRorLintothe
socketwiththecorrespondingletter.
c. Pusheacharmrestintoitssocketsuntilitclicksintoplace.
d. Ensurelockingbuttonsprotrudefullyfromholes.Pullonarmrests
slightlytotestproperinstallation.Ifloose,repeatstepc.
3. Atthetoilet,liftthecoverplatesattopreartoiletbowlrim,exposingthe
boltsholdingtheseatandlidtothetoiletbowl.

4. UseaPhillipsorbladescrewdriver,whicheverisappropriate,tounscrew
toiletseatboltsbyturningcounterclockwise.
5. Removethetoiletseatandlidfromthetoiletbowlandsetthemaside.
6. Placethetoiletseatriseroverthetoiletbowlrimsothatthetoiletseat
risermountingholesalignwiththetoiletrimholes.
7. Placethetoiletseatandlidontopofthetoiletseatrisersothattheseat/
lidholesalignwiththeriserandrimholes.
8. Installawasherononeofthelongboltsincludedintheboxandinsertit
throughthetopofthetoiletseatlid,toiletseatriser,andtoiletbowlrim.
9. Placeawasherandwingnutontheendofthelongboltthatprotrudes
throughthebottomofthetoiletbowl.

10.UseaPhillipsorbladescrewdriver,whicheverisappropriate,toturntheboltclockwiseuntiltoiletseat
riserandtoiletseatlidaresnug.Donotovertighten.
11.Thetoiletseatrisershouldnowbesecurelyinstalledonthetoiletbowl.Toensurethatyouhavea
properfit,intentionallyshakethetoiletseatrisertoensureproperplacementandfit.Thetoiletseat
risershouldnotmove;ifitdoes,re-install.
OPERATION
WARNING:Alwaysensurethetoiletseatriserissecurelyinstalledbeforeuse.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING:Checkthetoiletseatriserweeklyforsignsofdamageorcracking.Ifdamageor
crackingisfound,DONOTusethetoiletseatriser.ContactyourLumexauthorizeddistributor
immediately.
WARNING:Inspectthetoiletseatriserweeklyandtightenitasneededtoensuresecureinstallation.
s NOTICE:Neveruseabrasivecleanersorscouringpadsonanypartofthetoiletseatriser.
• Tocleanthetoiletseatriser,washitwithsoapandwateroramilddetergent,thenrinseitwithwater.
Ensurethetoiletseatriserisrinsedwellbeforeuse.
• Tocleaninterioroftoiletseatriser,flushwithwarmsoapywater,thendrainandallowtoairdryforseveralhours.
• Ifmoistureaccumulatesinsidetoiletseatriser,dothefollowing:
a. Removetoiletseatriserfromtoiletbowl.
b. Turntoiletseatriserupsidedownandtilttowarddrainopening.
c. Rotateuntildrainopeningisfacingdownwardandmoisturedrains.
d. Allowtoiletseatrisertoairdryforseveralhoursbeforere-installation.

GFHealthProducts,Inc.warrantstheLumex6482R-2/6482ER-2ToiletSeatRiserasfollows:Lifetimelimited
warrantyagainstmanufacturer’sdefects.Ifaproductisdeemedtobeunderwarranty,GFHealthProducts,Inc.shallprovide,atitsoption,(1)replacementofanydefectivepartorproductor(2)acreditofthe
originalsellingpricemadetoGFHealthProducts,Inc.’sinitialcustomer.Thewarrantydoesnotincludeany
laborchargesincurredinreplacementpart(s)installationoranyassociatedfreightorshippingchargesto
GFHealthProducts,Inc.
Thewarrantiescontainedhereincontainalltherepresentationsandwarrantieswithrespecttothesubject
