devices. To ensure proper configuration of the adapter for your
device, follow these instructions carefully.

Getting started
1 Determine the voltage required to power your device and
select the same voltage on the adapter. (Examples include
3V and 4.5V) (You may find the required voltage beside the
device DC jack.)
2 Locate the DC input on the device (sometimes labeled DC in)
and select the plug that best fits the jack.
3 Determine the polarity required to power the device and
insert the plug into the cable receptacle as follows:
If your device shows a positive polarity symbol on the product,
then insert the plug like this:
Note the positive (+) symbol on the plug.
Note the word “TIP” is visible.
QUICK SETUP GUIDE
4 Connect the adapter to an AC power outlet and operate
the device according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Cautions
• Unplug the adapter before selecting a new DC output
voltage. Failure to do so may damage the device.
• The adapter emits heat when operating at its maximum
capacity for an extended period of time. Handle it with
care when it’s hot.
