The upgrade with the Realtek chip RTD1185 provides opportunities.

Thus the IB-MP3011Plus has a web browser, plus a YouTube app.

The network protocols NFS and FTP have been added.
•
Since the IB-MP3011Plus with an HDD inside is also a network server the 1 Gbit/s LAN interface will surely be embraced.

Audio performance is up to date as the following stereo downmixes are supported:
Dolby Digital AC3 5.1, Dolby TrueHD 7.1, DTS Digital Surround 5.1, AAC 7.1. Plus several surround formats.

Subtitles and languages: the IB-MP3011 comes in a truly multi-cultural and cosmopolitan manner.
