shaving and avoid the pain of plucking or epilation. The results are sleek, silky legs that really get you
noticed.
Rio Precious Legs is designed to be easy to use. Simply wash the treatment area with warm soapy
water and dry thoroughly. Attach a Micro-dermabrasion disc, push the slide button to turn on and bring
the disc gently into contact with the skin using a circular motion over the hairs. What could be easier?
The appliance can operate in either clockwise or anti-clockwise rotation, effectively removing hair by
working in the opposite direction to hair growth. Some users may experience a little redness to the skin
immediately after use; this is quite normal and will fade soon after you’ve finished.

Can I use Rio Precious Legs™ on all areas of my body?
Rio Precious Legs™ is designed specifically for body hair, but not for facial hair. Do not use on your
face or neck.
Can I use any ointment or lotion on my skin after treatment?
We do not advise using perfumed moisturisers as these may irritate your skin causing redness.
unperfumed, soothing lotions may be used.
Do I need to exfoliate first?
No. Rio Precious Legs™ is designed to act as an exfoliator as well as a hair remover. Its microdermabrasion technology removes all dead skin during treatment, leaving your skin feeling soft, silky and
looking radiant.
It isn’t removing very much hair, why?
You are applying too much pressure. You must bring the disc GENTLY onto your skin. The ideal
pressure will only cause the motor to slow slightly and you will feel a warm tingling sensation. Applying
too much pressure will greatly reduce the effectiveness of exfoliation and hair removal. The motor is
geared to either stop or slow significantly if too much pressure is applied. If you are removing a lot of
hair the first treatment may take some time.
Are you working in the same direction of hair growth?
The most effective results will be achieved by working in the opposite direction of hair growth using a
circular anti-clockwise motion.
What is the difference between shaving and using Rio Precious Legs™?
Unlike traditional razors Rio Precious Legs™ actually exfoliates the skin, removing dead skin. This
allows the micro-dermabrasion disc to remove the hair closer to the hair follicle, hence weakening the
hair and reducing the speed at which it grows back, so your skin will stay smoother for longer.
