Unclipandremovethelowerdashpanel coverabovethepocketandremovethe 8mm/Phillipsscrew.(FiguresAandB) 2. Unclipandremovetheradiofromthe dash.(Tip:startatthetopoftheradio) (FigureC) 3. Unplugandremovetheradio. Continued to kit assembly (Figure A) (Figure B) (Figure C) 3 99-7879 Kit Assembly 1. Removethecentertopclipoffofthe factoryradioandinstallontothe 99-7879installkit. 2. Followthediagramtoattachthe necessaryclipstotheradiohousingin theproperlocations. 3. Remove2phillipsscrewsholdingthe factoryhazardswitchforthefactory panelandinstallintothe99-7879 re-usingthefactoryhardware. 4. Remove2phillipsscrewsholdingthe passengerairbaglightfromthefactory panelandinstallintothe99-7879 usingthesupplied#6screws. Locatethefactorywiringharnessinthe dash.Metrarecommendsusingthe propermatingadapterfromMetraor AXXESS.Re-connectthenegative batteryterminalandtesttheunitfor properoperation. 2. Aligntheholesintheradiohousing bracketswiththeholesintheISODIN HeadUnitandsecurethebracketsto theheadunitwiththescrewsincluded withtheunit.(FigureB) 3. Attachthepockettothebracket/ radiohousingassemblywiththefour #8X3/8”Phillipsscrewsprovided. (FigureB) (Figure B) 4. Securetheradiohousingbracketsto theradiohousingwithfour#8X3/8” Phillipsscrewsprovided.(FigureC) 5. Reassembledashinreverseorderof disassemblyusingthesupplied #8screwinplaceofthefactoryscrew removedinstepone,figureBofthe dashdisassembly.
