How to wash correctly B Open the drum door. To start the programme C Load the drum. G Turn the programme selector to the required programme (See "Programme chart"). Unfold the laundry and load loosely in the drum. To achieve best results it is advisable to make up mixed loads consisting of both large and small items. This improves the washing effect and helps distribute the load evenly during spinning. Overloading causes creasing and reduces cleaning efficiency. Do not exceed the following maximum loads: Cottons . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 6.0 kg Minimum iron . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3.0 kg Delicates / Synthetics . . . . . . . . . 1.5 kg Woollens . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2.0 kg Short . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3.0 kg D Close the drum door. Make sure that no garments are caught between the drum door and the seal. E Add detergent and fabric conditioner or liquid starch if required. See "Detergent" for further information. F Open the stopcock. 14 H Select additional option if required. ^ Press the additional option button required (see "Programme chart"). The additional option can be deselected by pressing the button again. I Select a spin speed. ^ Turn the spin speed selector to the required setting. In some programmes the maximum spin speed is limited. The machine will not allow a higher spin speed to be selected. See "Programme chart".
