1. Overview
1.1
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Epsio is a grap hics so l ution in tegr ated in to th e Mul tica mLSM tha t a ll ows t he
operat ors to co ntro l gra phic a nimat ions , su ch a s offs ide line , gra phic o verlay s,
arrows or circ les, usi ng t he LSM Remo te P anel .
It can be used wi th the EVS XT family ser vers and works with Mu ltic a m, from
versio n 10 .2.3 0 o nward s.
Before the even t, th e use r perf orms t he in iti al ca li brati on, wh ere the im age s of th e
playf ield are matc hed w ith p rede fine d ang les in to th e sys tem. Bas ed o n thi s
calibr ati on, Eps io is abl e to insta ntly a nd auto matica lly rec ogni ze the playf ield
during a cti ons whe n the playf ield i s clea rly vi sibl e on the vi deo si gnal . T he user
will al so de fine the ch ro ma key, w hich m eans th e range of co lors o n th e video
signal whe re t he g raph ic animat ions wil l be inc rust ed.
The ope rato r can t hen t ri gger th e ani mati on in a one-se cond oper atio n, us ing the
jog wh eel of the LSM R e mote P anel .
The produ cer can au tom atica lly see a scr eensh ot with the graph ic anim ati on, and
decide whe ther or not to play out the enti re a ctio n with the eff ects .

The ima ge o n th e mon itor i s su rrou nded by a colo red frame , wh ich varie s
depend ing on t he ta b o pen in th e tabb ed area on the ri ght of t he Eps i o main
window :
• Blue frame when th e Cal i brati on t ab i s op en

enter ing agai n th e Ep sio menu o n th e Rem ote Pan el.

CAMERA ANGLE LIST

SAVING AND MANAGING THE CONFIGURATION

calibr ati on and the c hro ma key de fin itio n, is sav ed in a c onfi gura tion file that i s
made u p of two .xm l fi les :
• A fil e co ntai ning the pla yf ield dist ance s an d al l ca mera a ngle def init ions .
This file is ‘n ame’ .xml where <nam e> is the name the user gi ves t o the
confi gura tion when it is s aved for the firs t ti me.
• A fil e co ntai ning the chr o ma key con figu rati on.
This f ile is ‘name ’.CK .

STARTING THE EVS SERVER APPLICATION
