This device reduces tar, ash, many carcinogenic compounds and other hazardous toxins - more than your average vaporizer pen. Easy and discreet to use, El Jefe works under all conditions such as , outdoors in windy or wet weather as well as indoors. After three short hours of charging the El Jefe will be ready to use. The charger light will stay red while charging, once ready - the charger light will change to green. Insert the battery into the bottom of the vaporizer (see page 5). The power button will flash 3 times consecutively once installed properly. Loading the El Jefe: 1. Remove the mouth piece from the heating chamber. 2. Fill chamber with grinded dry herbs. Use the packing tool to gently pack the chamber (do not over pack). Or fill the Wax & e-liquid Heating Cup with your liquid or wax - contents of the cup should never be above the filter. 3. Snap the mouth piece back into the heating chamber 9 ACTIVATION Place grinded dry herb directly inside heating chamber or place wax or e-liquid into the Wax & e-liquid heating cup, and place the cup into the heating chamber. INITIAL CHARGE Recommended charging time for the El Jefe battery is 6 hours on the first charge. Charging the battery for the recommended 6 hours will condition the battery for future battery life span. Press the power button rapidly three (3) times, the button light will be red. Indicating that the heating chamber has been activated. Once the El Jefe vaporizer reaches 374°F - 428°F, the power button will turn green and the El Jefe is ready to use. CHARGING AFTER INITIAL CHARGE Charge the El Jefe battery for approximately 3 hours. The LED light will be red while charging and will turn green upon a full charge. When the LED light blinks eight (8) times, the device needs to be re-charged. Inhale slowly once the power button turns green. 10 11 CLEANING AND MAINTAINING When using the El Jefe vaporizer for an extended amount of time, the filter may become clogged and dirty resulting in a difficult draw or lower amount of vapor releasing through the mouth piece. Always make sure the El Jefe is completely cooled down before cleaning. CLEANING AND MAINTAINING CONTINUED CLEANING THE HEATING CHAMBER 1. Disconnect the heating chamber from the battery 2. Remove the heating cup with the tweezer 3. Use the brush tool to gently clean the walls of the heating cup and chamber 12 CLEANING THE MOUTHPIECE 1. Wipe the mouth piece with a damp paper towel. TIPS • For best results, do not pack the heating chamber too tightly with herbs. This will ensure an easy air-flow passage for even heating • Please remember to rapidly press the button three (3) consecutive times to activate the heating element before inhaling • After 2 minutes, the device will automatically turn off as an added safety feature. You will need to re-activate to continue use • In the event that the vapor is not releasing, use the packing tool to gently rotate herbs in the chamber • For best results, use grinded herbs and be sure to remove all stems and/or seeds before filling the chamber WARNING Do NOT reverse the battery during installation. 14 WARNING CONTINUED • Do NOT fill the heating chamber with any stems or seeds. Doing so will cause damage to the El Jefe vaporizer and void the warranty • Do NOT overfill the Wax & e-liquid Heating Cup. Liquid should never be above the filter. • Do NOT touch the Wax & e-liquid Heating Cup for at least one (1) minute after use. Cup will be hot • Keep the El Jefe away from water and other fluids • Do NOT put any objects into the opening of the mouthpiece 16 LIMITED WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS USE CAUTION El Jefe chargers should never be left unattended or near carpet and rug areas. Failure to follow the above warning may result in burning of carpet or rugs and a potential fire hazard. In order to prevent overheating-charge the El Jefe per instructions, for 3 hours, or until the green light indicates that the unit is fully charged and ready for use. Do NOT leave the charger plugged in overnight Do NOT plug the charger into a power strip 18 LIMITED WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONTINUED WARNING: Incompatible chargers may carry a different voltage, which may be a fire hazard. The use of a charger unit with different voltage will void the limited warranty. Please only use El Jefe brand chargers. CLEANING THE FILTER 1. Use the brush tool to gently clean the filter 2. Wipe clean with a cloth to ensure a clear airway 13 15 WARRANTY 1 Year Limited Warranty Information The El Jefe device warranty will cover defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase. All Claims must be submitted by original purchaser and must be submitted with original box, manual and reciept. All claims must be submitted online at www.vaporskunk.com. Vapor Skunk will repair or exchange the El Jefe with a new or refurbished unit. The limited warranty does not apply to normal performance, degradation of battery or neglecting to adhere to cleaning instructions and use instructions. 17 LIMITED WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS Vapor Skunk will not be responsible for any special, consequential or incidental damages. Including, but not limited to the replacement of a carpet, rug, personal or real property. Vapor Skunk is not responsible for any damage cause by inappropriate, incorrect or irresponsible use of our products.
