Operating instructions To achieve the best possible effect, it is important that the smartphone be installed as hermetically as possible within the foam padding. Be careful to choose the most suitable foam pad. The above-right diagram details the procedure for inserting the foam padding so that it entirely obstructs the sound hole and is correctly positioned. On the diagram below it, we draw your attentio nto the fact that it is preferable to insert the smartphone sideways rather than vertically, in order to avoid any crushing of the foam, and then to reposition it vertically. The sound varies quite noticeably according to the position of the smartphone, especially depending on how deeply it is pressed into the foam. We invite you to test various options so as to achieve the best possible result. Caring for your JMC Acoustic Docking Station It is important not to expose this object made of glued tonewood to a direct source of heat. It is advisable to place it in surroundings maintained at a maximum 40 % humidity rate. For cleaning, we suggest using a soft damp cloth if necessary. Do not use cleaning products (so as to keep the natural satin-finish effect) and definitely not detergents (which may damage the varnish). Be careful not to knock it with any hard materials. While such impacts should not disturb the sound, they could easily leave marks and it is virtually impossible to remove such marks.
