identified by the Control Panel.
Instructions for Use
2. Open the node of the Mastercycler pro in the navigation tree.
The self test function is now unlocked.
The status of the self test function can be identified by its symbols in the navigation tree.

Self test function activated

Self test function locked
The self test function is activated until the self test USB key is disconnected from the Control
Panel.
Perform self test
Warning! Risk of burns from the hot thermoblock and heated lid.
The thermoblock and the heated lid very quickly reach temperatures above 95 °C.
Keep heated lid closed until the temperature of the thermoblock is below 30 °C.

The Mastercycler pro is switched on and is in idle time.
A user is logged on (if the function PIN is activated).
The navigation tree is displayed on the Control Panel.
The self test function is unlocked (see p. 4).
1. Equip the block of the Mastercycler pro with an empty PCR plate and close the heated lid.
2. Mark the node Self Test.
3. Press function key Start.
