COMMODITY USER GUIDE (please refer to the Framework Guideline Document for an overview of how SW’s Frameworks should be used) COMMODITY TITLE: Lot 3 Packaged Pump Sets COMMODITY NO: SW09/CAP/587 COMMODITY OVERVIEW Scottish Water requires a Framework Agreement for Packaged Booster Sets which will be utilised by its Delivery Partners, Contractors and by Scottish Water for all pumps under this category. This framework encompasses all Packaged Booster Sets supplied to Scottish Water. The scope of the framework is to procure, install and test packaged booster sets and associated ancillary equipment for process and pumping station installations within water treatment works, water networks and waste water treatment works. SCOPE More specifically the framework shall include:1) Supply of package booster sets for potable water (and water that could become potable) and screened final effluent applications. The package booster pumpsets shall typically comprise the following components/systems: a) b) c) d) e) f) A baseframe; A number of fixed and/or variable speed pumpsets; Inlet and outlet pipework, valves and associated instrumentation; A number of accumulator vessels; A break tank (for potable washwater applications); and A local control panel (LCP) and associated electrical installation. 2) Supply of package booster sets with ATEX certification if required. 3) Supply of package booster sets full WRAS approval if required. 4) Supply of high efficiency motors suitable for variable speed operation if required. 5) Supply of all necessary ancillaries (cabling, instrumentation, pressure and flow control devices, protection devices etc) 6) Supply of Supporting Information including documentation and information in the formats as defined by Scottish Water including: a) Works Manuals b) Supply of Drawings c) Maintenance Procedures and Schedules 7) Installation, Testing and Commissioning - this Framework Agreement includes as optional extras the following: a) Installation at site b) On site testing (in addition to Factory Acceptance Testing) c) On site commissioning or commissioning support 8) Provision of onsite training as required in addition to training information supplied via works manuals. 9) Compliance with Scottish Water Standards and Specifications including WIMES applies to the supply of all equipment under this framework as do any and all regulatory requirements.
