Instructions QUICK REFERENCE TIMER INSTRUCTIONS 1. Set Time and Date: A. Turn rotary dial to time/date B. To set time press “+” or “-” key to advance clock to correct time of day. Press enter. Blinking cursor moves to year. C. To set year press “+” or “-” key to advance to current year. Press enter. Blinking cursor moves to month. D. To set month press “+” or “-” key to advance to current month. Press enter. (January is 1, February is 2, etc.). Blinking cursor moves to day. E. To set date press “+” or “-” key to advance to current date. Press enter. Current time appears on the display. F. To review settings press next. The cursor will blink at start time 1 on the display. B. Press “+” or “-” key to advance to desired start time. Press enter. Cursor advances to start time 2. C. If more than one start time is required, repeat step B for up to four start times per day for A or B programs. D. To review start times, press next. To clear a start time press clear. To change a start time repeat steps A and B. 3. Set Zone Duration for A or B Programs: A. Turn rotary dial to A or B zone/duration. The cursor blinks over station 1. To select the watering duration for station 1 press “+” or “-” key to advance to the desired duration from 1 to 99 minutes. Press enter. B. Repeat step A for any remaining stations (“A” or “B” appears over the station being programmed). C. To review watering durations press next. To clear a watering duration press clear. To modify a watering duration repeat step A. 4. Selecting Active Watering Days in the A Program: A. Turn the rotary dial to day of week. The cursor blinks over “M” for Monday. B. To activate a day for watering, Press enter. The cursor advances to the next day. A flag will appear over the days of week indicating active watering days. E. To skip a watering day press next. To clear a watering day press clear. To modify active watering days repeat steps A and B. Note: It is not possible to have days entered weekly and every 2nd day. 5. Selecting a Watering Interval in the B Program: A. Turn the rotary dial to watering interval. The cursor blinks at interval on the display. B. To enter an interval of days between watering press “+” or “-” key (Example: an interval of 5 will water every 5th day). Press enter to activate interval. C. To enter watering on odd or even days press next until cursor is blinking to the left of odd or even. Press enter. D. To clear the interval and odd or even days press clear. To modify repeat steps A, B or C. “- -”. Press “+” or “-” to advance to the desired watering duration. Press enter to activate watering. 6. Automatic Watering: A. To water according to the automatic plan entered, turn rotary dial to auto. 8. 24, 48, or 72 Hour Rain Delay: A. Turn rotary dial to auto. B. Press rain delay. Watering will be discontinued for a 24 hour period from the time you pressed rain delay without modifying the program. C. To increase the rain delay to 48 hours press rain delay a second time. Press again for 72 hours. D. To discontinue rain delay and return to automatic watering press clear. 7. Manual Watering: A. Turn the rotary dial to auto. B. Press manual to water all stations for the watering durations active in the A and B programs. Press enter to begin watering. C. To water only stations active in the A or B program press next until “A” or “B” appears under program in the left corner of the display. Press enter to begin watering. D. To water a specific station press next until the cursor is lined up over the desired station. The display will read 9. Complete System Shut Down: A.
