Incredibly durable design will withstand years of K-12 use. The chair has been tested to meet or exceed ANSI BIFMA X5.1-2011 standards for
office chairs.

Stacking design allows up to five chairs to stack and nest to create additional floor space for other activities.

Multiple powder paint options for the frame allow for the creation of vibrant or calming environments and allow for furniture to be color coded to
specific spaces.
•
Chairs are available with arm rests or armless.
•
The frame is constructed using 14-gauge flat oval steel tubing, formed using a CNC tube bender, and features arc welded connections.
•
Plastic molded seat and back have a perforated pattern and are contoured for comfort and air circulation.
•
Chairs are available in a smooth rolling 2" diameter caster or with floor glides.
•
All Bretford seating is CAL 117 certified. Certification for CAL 133 is available for an additional fee.

ARM CHAIR DIMENSIONS
RECYCLED CONTENT
Steel components are constructed with prime steel and feature a 25%
to 35% post-consumer recycled content. Steel components are 100%
recyclable at the end of the product life cycle.
Plastic seat and back are available in the choice of four colors, Raven
(-R); Anthracite (-A); Neutral Grey (-NG); or Warm Grey (-WG). Plastic
finishing components are always Anthracite. The steel frame may be
powder paint coated in any of Bretford’s paint finishes.

All steel components are finished using a powder coat paint that greatly
reduces VOCs.

The Explore Student Chairs meets or exceeds relevant ANSI-BIFMA
X5.1-2011 standards for office chairs. Testing standards are written for a
95th percentile adult male, defined by BIFMA as 253 lbs.

The frame assembly is constructed using a 14-gauge flat oval steel
tube, which is formed using a CNC tube bender, and features robotic arc
welded connections.

impact modifiers added for flexibility and durability.
WARRANTY
Bretford warranties the Explore Chair Series for 12-years, at date of
shipment, against defects from materials or workmanship.

The Explore Student Chair with Tablet is made at one of Bretford’s Chicago area manufacturing facility, employing union labor.
