Setting Up Your HD Bluetooth Music Receiver

1. C
onnect the HD Bluetooth Music Receiver to
an audio input on your home music system. You
can either connect with a standard connection
or use one with a higher definition.
• Standard options
i.RCA-style Right/Left connections (a 3.5mm to
RCA cable is included)
ii. Direct connect from 3.5mm to an auxiliary input
(3.5mm “headphone” cable sold separately)
• HD options
i. Coaxial cable (included)
ii. Optical cable (sold separately)
Please consult your home music system’s manual for
more information on which connections make sense
with your system.
2. Connect the AC power adapter cable to the HD
Bluetooth Music Receiver’s power jack, and
plug the AC adapter into a wall power outlet.

3. The blue LED light will flash once to indicate
the unit is powered and is now ready to be
paired to your Bluetooth smart device.

1. D
ownload the Belkin BT app from the Google
Play store and install it on your phone.
1. Go to “settings” and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
2. Follow your device’s normal Bluetooth connection
process by searching for devices; once you
have found the Bluetooth device labeled
Belkin HD BT, you should connect to it.
2. Run the app and it will automatically walk you through
the configuration process and get you connected.
3. Once the app is configured and installed,
all you need to do is “tap” your phone on
the Belkin HD Bluetooth Music Receiver to
connect it; your phone’s built-in NFC will then
automatically connect it to the receiver.

play through your music system.

Reconnecting Your Device
Out of Range or Lost Signal
I f you move out of range or turn off the Bluetooth feature
on your mobile device, the HD Bluetooth Music Receiver
will disconnect from your device. To reconnect, simply
access the Bluetooth Manager on your device and
select the appropriate device listed.
If the music device is out of range (beyond 30 feet) of the
Bluetooth HD Music Receiver or if there is something
blocking the Bluetooth signal, the LED light will turn
off to indicate that the Bluetooth connection with the
music device has been lost. To avoid a lost connection,
move the music device back into range (within 30 feet),
or reduce obstructions between the receiver and your
smart device. Within 15 seconds, the connection will
automatically be reestablished and the blue LED light
will turn on. If the connection is lost for more than 15
seconds, the connection will need to be reestablished.
Follow the directions in “Reconnecting Your Device.”
Changing Connected Device
I f you want to switch from one device to another, follow
these steps:
1. End the existing Bluetooth connection with
the connected device by either disconnecting
within your “settings” or turning off Bluetooth.
2. The HD Bluetooth Music Receiver can now be
connected to a different smart mobile device.
3. Follow the directions in “Pairing Your Bluetooth
Music Receiver” to connect a different device.

You can quickly solve most problems with your HD
Bluetooth Music Receiver by following the advice in
this section.

• Make sure that your audio system is
powered and turned to the proper input.
• Make sure the stereo volume is set to
a comfortable listening level.
“My music is not coming out of the stereo
speakers.”
• Make sure you are within range of the receiver,
and that your smart device is connected via
Bluetooth technology with the receiver.
Solutions:
• M
ake sure the HD Bluetooth Music
Receiver is powered.
• Make sure an audio cable is correctly and firmly
connected to the HD Bluetooth Music Receiver.
• Make sure one of the two supplied audio
cables is correctly and firmly connected
to the receiver and the stereo.

Belkin International, Inc. (“Belkin”) warrants to the original purchaser of
this Belkin product that the product shall be free of defects in design,
assembly, material, or workmanship.

Belkin will repair or replace, at its option, any defective product free of

the right to discontinue any of its products without notice, and disclaims
any limited warranty to repair or replace any such discontinued
products. In the event that Belkin is unable to repair or replace the
product (for example, because it has been discontinued), Belkin will
offer either a refund or a credit toward the purchase of another product
from Belkin.com in an amount equal to the purchase price of the
product as evidenced on the original purchase receipt as discounted
by its natural use.

How to get service
Belkin reserves the right to review the damaged Belkin product. All
costs of shipping the Belkin product to Belkin for inspection shall
be borne solely by the purchaser. If Belkin determines, in its sole
discretion, that it is impractical to ship the damaged equipment to
Belkin, Belkin may designate, in its sole discretion, an equipment repair
facility to inspect and estimate the cost to repair such equipment. The
cost, if any, of shipping the equipment to and from such repair facility
and of such estimate shall be borne solely by the purchaser. Damaged
equipment must remain available for inspection until the claim is
finalized. Whenever claims are settled, Belkin reserves the right to
be subrogated under any existing insurance policies the purchaser
may have.

All above warranties are null and void if the Belkin product is not

product has been improperly installed, altered in any way, or tampered
with. The Belkin Product Warranty does not protect against acts of God
such as flood, lightning, earthquake, war, vandalism, theft, normal-use
wear and tear, erosion, depletion, obsolescence, abuse, damage due
to low voltage disturbances (i.e. brownouts or sags), non-authorized
program, or system equipment modification or alteration.
