To charge the eclo battery, plug the dedicated USB cord into the port on the control head. The LED light on the USB cord will shine red during the charging process. It will turn off once charging is completed. When using a computer to recharge the battery, make sure the USB port has a high voltage output or the battery will not charge. You should use only the dedicated USB charger provided to avoid damaging battery. Under normal conditions, it takes about 5 hours to charge battery. The eclo battery has a microchip to prevent overcharging. The charger will automatically stop when battery is fully charged. Always charge the battery fully before using to maintain a good battery life. To ensure a good battery life, do not store battery in a hot or humid environment. Always store the batteries in a safe place away from children or pets. Do not drop battery. Do not force battery. Keep battery away from sharp objects. Do not throw batteries into fire. Do not dismantle battery. Dispose of according to the safety standards of your community to protect your environment. Rechargeable batteries are safe and reliable when used properly. If you misuse or abuse the battery it may leak or in some extreme cases it may present a fire or explosion hazard. Please understand Ovale does not accept liability for damages arising from misuse or abuse. Please follow safety instructions. 3. Filling with eLiquid 1. How to assemble the control head Twist and remove atomizer lock from the control head. Place an atomizer in the control head with spike pointing up (see diagram). Secure the atomizer in place with the atomizer lock. Atomizer is shipped dry from the factory. Always prime a new atomizer with 3-4 drops of eLiquid before using it. Place a few drops on atomizer spike before using. Users may experience a burnt taste if not primed. 2. Battery and control head assembly Insert the tip of eLiquid bottle directly into the inlet hole at the base of the Tank Cartridge. Squeeze the eLiquid bottle gently to fill. Once filled, remove the eLiquid bottle from cartridge. Do not overfill. Wipe away any excess eLiquid from the cartridge and place the cartridge on top of the assembled control head. Make sure it is firmly seated on the atomizer spike. If it is not seated firmly on the spike, it may result in abnormal airflow or leaking. When you seperate the catridge from the control head, do not bend the catridge. 3. Assemble Mouthpiece cap Place mouthpiece cap over the Tank Cartridge on the Control Head and gently push down. Place the assembled control head on battery. Turn the battery in a clockwise direction as shown. How to use products Take long slow puffs rather than short and strong inhalations. Let a generous amount of vapor gather in your mouth. Then inhale and enjoy the unique flavor of the liquid. Auto control head instructions Simply inhale as described above. No buttons to push. The LED light on the control head will light up as you inhale. ■ Automatic mode protection and power-saving features Continuous use for more than 10 seconds will cause the battery to cut off it's power supply automatically. Users will see two flashes and power supply will shut off control head. You can use normally again shortly. Battery will automatically shut off if atomizer resistance is less than 1Ω or short circuit occurs. Users will see the LED light on for 2seconds. If the LED Light is on for 2 seconds, stop using the control head and replace the atomizer or control head. + If the battery does not have enough charge, the LED flashes 10 times and it will not activate. Manual control head instructions To vape in manual mode the user must press and hold the control head button when inhaling. Users should press the button just before starting to inhale and continue holding until the end of inhalation then release. Pressing the button for longer than 10 seconds will cause the device to shut off The LED will flash 2 times and the power supply will automatically cut off. ■ The battery saving feature The manual control head can be put into a sleep mode to prevent unintentional activation. Press the button 5 times in 2 seconds to enter sleep mode. In sleep mode the button will not activate when pressed. When in sleep mode, press the button 5 times in 2 seconds to return the device to normal function. ■ Mouthpiece Cap During inhalation, small amounts of liquid can get into your mouth. This happens when trapped vapor in the mouthpiece builds up inside the cap and returns to its liquid form. To prevent this build up - clean out the excess build up of eLiquids inside the cap when refilling your eLiquid. ■ Tank Cartridge Please avoid unnecessary or frequent separation of the Tank Cartridge. Frequent separations may cause the hole in the cap to wear away faster leading to problems with leaking or abnormal airflow. The Cartridge is a wear part and should be replaced or cleaned often for hygienic reasons. Tank Cartridges containing less than 10% eLiquid may suddenly start leaking. This is a unique structural phenomena in the tank system. Once the eLiquid level falls below 10%, the tank does not have enough surface tension to keep eLiquid in the tank. Please refill the tank regularly. Please make sure the Tank Cartridge is seated firmly on the atomizer spike. A gap between the Tank Cartridge and the control head may result in abnormal airflow or leaking. Your eclo is now ready to use. How to take care of your electronic cigarette. ■ Maintenance Ongoing maintenance is required in order to keep your device working properly. Clean connections with a clean cotton cloth or alcohol wipe frequently to prevent the buildup of dirt or debris. Parts touching your mouth such as the mouthpiece cap needs to be cleaned or replaced periodically for hygienic reasons. ■ Battery Clean connections between battery and control head often. This prevents the buildup of dirt. Wipe away any excess eLiquid on the connections to prevent shorting the device. Always use a genuine eclo adapter to recharge battery. eclo’ s lithium-ion battery is a wear item and will eventually lose it’ s ability to hold a charge. Users should charge fully before using the eclo. Users should following all safety instructions in the how to charge your eclo battery section in this manual. ■ Atomizer The atomizer contains a heating element. It will get hot during use. If you experience severe heat during use, stop using the product and wait for it to cool down before using again. Atomizers are wear items. If you experience burnt taste or decreased vapor or flavor after using for a period of time, replace your atomizer. Always prime new atomizers before using. See priming instructions in the How to assemble product section of this manual.
