Synergy Automotive Electronics - Keetec CZ Smart User Manual—Rev 1 Product Description: The Keetec CZ Smart is a Passive Keyless Entry System, designed to be used on 12V vehicles. It is supplied with two miniature remote control ADR (Automatic Driver Recognition) Cards that can either be used as a conventional remote control transmitter (by pressing button 1 to lock or unlock the vehicle) or to passively lock & unlock the vehicle - in this mode, you can also use the manual operation as well. In addition, the system has a separate output for luggage compartment unlock, controlled by pressing and holding the ADR button for 2 seconds to activate the output (Can be used with system locked/unlocked) Please consult your dealer for additional information and accessories. Two ADR Cards supplied - Up two 6 ADR Cards in total can be coded to the system - Please consult your dealer Passive operation locks the doors 20 seconds after the ADR Card is out of range Passive or Manual activation can be selected by the using the ADR card For security reasons, once the vehicle has been locked with the ADR Card (Manually or Passively), the programming button is disabled. The programming button can be used to lock & unlock the vehicle, with ignition on or off, dependant on programming. If the system has been locked, when the ignition is turned on, then when turned off, the system will unlock. To select or deselect passive operation, press the ADR button 4 times rapidly, holding down on the 4th press. The LED will flash a number of times slowly to indicate the mode, repeat operation to move to change the functionality. Please refer to the table below: 1 Flash Passive ON 2 Flashes Passive OFF Range of the Passive operation can be adjusted to operate up to 3 different distances - dependant on vehicle and antenna placement. To adjust this function, press the ADR button 3 times rapidly, holding down on the 3rd press. The LED will flash a number of times corresponding to the range selected, repeat this action to move to the next level.
