Pin 8-> +24V
Pin 15-> GND
Pin 3 -> CAN H
Pin 11-> CAN L
The AV device is equipped with three LEDs with the following meaning::
LED GREEN Power_ON: If turned on, the module is powered.
YELLOW LED Sampling: Power pulse during the pulse module logs
LED RED Error: If turned on, an error has been detected..
Truck or Engine Installation
There are 2 way for the installation on the Truck:
a) First solution: Use a wire connection between AVJ1939Recorder CAN lines to the CAN
lines of the truck or the engine. This solution is suitable for the truck that gives to you all the
information available on the appropriate J1939 connector.
b) Second solution : Use contactless sensor to read the communication between the different
ECU of the trucks. This solution allow electrical isolation between the original cable and the
AVJ1939Recorder, it means :
the original equipment is SAFE , because with contacless sensor there is NOT real
connection.
is impossible to damage the original equipment
is impossible create voltage or current interference with original Equipment
