

create video file of different formats, such as HD Video for PC or Mac, AVI-video file, DVDVideo disc, Video for iPhone, exe file or screensaver. Besides, you can publish this video
with your slideshow on Youtube or Vimeo. This new for this version of PTE option will be
described in more details further (see Video Options, p. 66).

Preview button allows you to preview the whole slide show from the beginning up to the
end. If you want to preview it from a particular slide, you should use the button, which is
found by Preview.

When clicking on Project Options, a large dialog box with numerous options and settings
for your slide show will appear. A detailed description of this button can be seen (see
Projects Options, p.44).

Timeline option is necessary for synchronizing images to music. On clicking this button you
will see the timeline window, where you should do all adjustments. This function will also be
described in more details further (see Timeline Operation, p. 62).

Add, Remove and Clear List buttons are related to the slide list and are used to add new
images, remove unnecessary ones and to clear the whole slide list.

The explanation of icon was given earlier in the article about the directory tree of files.
The Status Bar
At the very bottom of the main window you can see the status bar:

The first word «Modified» means, that there were some changes made in your project. If
you save these changes, this word will disappear.

The next box shows the file size of the main image of the current slide.

In the third box you can see an approximate size of your exe file after creating it.

Further you can see the size of the image, which is in the preview window, and the directory
where the selected image is situated.

There is one more point in the status bar, which is also very important – Hold Time Points.
The default is, that this option is unchecked here. The meaning of it is, that if you add new
images to the slide list, the other images are moved to give space for the new image on a
certain number of seconds, which you have set for showing each slide. But if the option
Hold Time Points is checked, the images will not be moved and the slide will be added
without adding the space for it.
