electromagnetic interference, which user should be mindful of.

< Before calling for service >
Before calling for any repair, check the following and then refer to the store or dealership
where you purchased this product.
1. M
F-Controller is not turned off even after MPDP power cable is
disconnected.
-M
F-Controller and MPDP set work with the independent power supplies.
When you need to turn on the MPDP again, please connect power cable and press
"ON" button in the MF-Controller.
If you want to turn off MF-Controller, please disconnect the power cable of the MFController
■Note:
 Use two 1.5V AAA-type batteries.
■How to mount batteries
 Slide the cap at the rear side of the remote controller to open.
 Insert batteries with the correct polarity and close the cap.
2. MF-Controller does not work with no reason.
- Please disconnect and reconnect the adapter.
- Please replace batteries of the remote controller.

04. MF-Controller Installation
1. Put the slide switch on the side at “REMOCON”
2. C
onnect RS232 cable and power supply adapter and install the MF-Controller
at the position of good reception. If it is necessary, use double sided tape.
3. S
et the number of MPDP units as instructed in <Configuration Mode> in the
manual. (Initial setting is 3X3)
4. T
he LED lamps in the MF-Controller indicate the previous or initial input source
at first, please select input source once again after power supply.
(Default; previous input source).

LED indication of MF-Controller for the numbers of MPDP units.
Insert a jumper to BIC part to configure BIC mode of MF-Controller.

on for horizontal configuration.
PC LED is turned off for vertical
configuration.

The other LEDs indicate the number of MPDP units.
The LEDs are turned on one by one from the rightmost
as the number increases from 1 to 7 and turned off from
the rightmost for the number 8 or higher.
1.Connect power.
2.Connect female D-sub to the Com port in a computer.
3.Connect male D-sub to the RS-232C port in MPDP.
4.Set the number of the connected MPDP units in advance. The number can be set
only by the Remote controller.

horizontally. The initial setting is 3 units. Following description shows
how to configure 4 MPDP units.
