Nevertheless, Microsoft Excel includes many powerful analytic capabilities that may prove valuable to you
if you have a complex, task intensive goal. Getting data out of GoalMind and into Microsoft Excel is an
excellent first step toward the creation of a multi-phased Microsoft Project plan.
Output to Notepad Clicking “Output to Notepad” from within the File “Command Line Toolbar” causes GoalMind to copy all
the data from the query result that underlies the GoalMind form you’re working with, launch Microsoft
Notepad, open a new, unnamed Notebook file, and copy the GoalMind data into the Notebook file.
At this point you’re working in Microsoft Notepad and beyond the scope of this user manual.
Nevertheless, Microsoft Notepad is a very simple text editor and the lowest common denominator for
almost every complex text editor that runs on Apple, PC or Unix operating systems.
If you’re goal is to get data out of GoalMind and into another application in a different computing
environment, the “Output to Notepad” is a practical first step.
Page Setup Clicking “Page Setup” from within the File “Command Line Toolbar” causes GoalMind to launch
Microsoft’s standard page setup dialog window. That window looks like this:

Print Preview Clicking “Print Preview” from within the File “Command Line Toolbar” causes GoalMind to format the form
you’re working on into a printable layout and launch Microsoft’s standard Print Preview dialog window.
