This means that some of your profile information is accessible through Google including your profile picture, friends list, and fan pages to which you belong. Some CPAs may use their Facebook presence for generating new contacts and may therefore like being included in Google search results while other CPAs may not want their information to be that public. If you prefer privacy, you can remove your Facebook content from all search engines by selecting “Account”, “Privacy Settings”, “Search” and unchecking the “Allow” check box next to the “Public Search Results” option as pictured in the screen below.
9. Prevent Photo/Video Tag Mistakes Reportedly, this is a frequent Facebook problem ‐ you let loose for a few hours one night at the company party and photos or videos of the moment are suddenly posted for all to view, not just your close friends who shared the moment with you, but potentially the entire world can see them. In some cases, the results can be devastating. It has been well documented that some Facebook users have been fired from work after incriminating photos/videos were posted Copyright April 2010, J.
