DANGER: METAL CONDUCTS ELECTRICITY! DO NOT let this ladder or any part of it come in contact with live wires. Maximum weight capacity for this ladder is 150kg. This includes weight of user, tools and materials. Always ensure all locking mechanisms are in locked position before stepping on the ladder. Stabilizer bars must be properly and securely fitted before use. Do not use any components not recommended by the manufacturer. Inspect thoroughly before each use. Never use in windy, rainy or icy conditions. Always handle with a firm grip. Use only on flat, stable surface. Never place anything under stabilizer bars to try to increase height. Never use, if under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Never set up ladder in front of doors that are unlocked. Do not use ladder jacks with this ladder. Never attempt to move ladder while on it. DO NOT stand on the ladder while releasing the locking mechanisms. Never use ladder if it is not on a level surface. As a straight ladder never stand on or above third rung from the top. As a step ladder never stand on above the second rung from the top. Always wear good, nonslip footwear. Do not wear loose clothing. Do not use if ladder is wet. It is always advisable to have someone hold the bottom of ladder for added security. Place the stabilizer bars into the ends of the side rails at each end of the ladder and secure with the nuts, bolts and washers provided (see diagram below). DO NOT use the ladder without the stabilizer bars attached unless otherwise noted. Always check the stabilizer bars are secure before putting any weight on the ladder. Only use stabilizer bars supplied. Hinge Locking Mechanisms ALWAYS make sure that all the ladder hinges are in the locked position before using. Each pair of locks must be locked simultaneously. PROCESS Pull out the unlocking levers to release a pair of hinges so that the locking pin is in the “O” position ( NOT LOCKED). Fold the relevant sections of the ladder to form the position that you require. The hinges will automatically “snap” in place at certain angles, and the locking pin is in the “L” position (LOCKED).
