It’s super fun for the youngest youngsters. Find out more on

The same sort of activities are available on the iPad. The first
batch can help with exploring, targeting, talking, counting
and choosing. Many more Apps will be available throughout

Keeping your iPad safe and accessible is a challenge. Big Grips
on page 8 meets that challenge colourfully, comfortably and
at little cost. If you need more volume or to use your iPad to
communicate check out the iAdapter too.
Large interactive LCD and plasma screens are really coming down
in price. They are great for groups of children and many now tilt
like tables for individual work. We have been expert on touch
screens longer than any other education supplier and I’m sure
we can give you just what you want at a price you can afford.

Helpkidzlearn is divided into categories to help you choose the right activities for your students. Each category contains dozens of colourful activities that make learning engaging, fun and motivating. Early Years - A great selection of early learning activities,

Central Management
The Inclusive LearnPad™ has been designed with schools in mind and as
such has a unique web based central management system that allows
teachers and administrators to manage and control multiple LearnPads
in a school, group Learnpads together for classes or school years then
control which applications and content are made available. You can
even create your own user interface for LearnPad™ and define your own
categories, backgrounds and icons!
Content Delivery
As well as central management, LearnPad™ has a custom designed
content delivery system, allowing administrators to upload, store and
automatically deliver new content directly to individual or grouped
LearnPads, all from one central location. Send your own documents,

EARLY DEVELOPMENT
The Target and Touch series has been developed to help develop the hand/eye coordination skills needed for successful interaction with touch screen technology, now becoming widely used in tablet devices as well as touch screen computers and interactive boards. Touch and touch and release options allow you to tailor the response
to meet individual needs, and to help the user to learn to press and release their touch to watch the result. They offer a carefully structured set of activities, ranging from cause and effect through to targeting multiple objects and are designed to support the development of the visual skills of locating, fixing and tracking. By being able to choose sizes and positions for the targets, we can help the user learn to explore the whole screen to locate objects and then give them exciting and stimulating auditory and visual rewards when they touch them. They are also
a useful assessment tool to help identify and assess visual preferences, such as size and position for the targets. These programs can also be mouse operated as they have a menu option for mouse pointer on or off. Touch
screen activities can also offer a more direct cause and effect relationship than using switches for learners with
severe cognitive difficulties.

The Kodak Pocket Camcorder Playsport offers a great mix of
ease of use and versatility, simply switch on and press the
record button to use. Waterproof to 3 metres, dustproof,
shockproof, image stabilisation – the list just goes on and on!
You can make videos in full HD or lower resolutions, it's easy
to switch between film and 5megapixel still pictures, built-in
special effects including black and white and sepia pictures.
The comprehensive kit includes a memory card, a mains
charger, HDMI and AV lead to connect to a TV set, and a USB
