Tow-starting/push-starting
Notes
f Check the final inspection date on the fire
extinguisher. If the fire extinguisher is used
after its inspection interval has elapsed, it may
not work properly.
Caution!
Do not attempt to push-start or tow-start the
vehicle under any circumstances. Vehicles
equipped with PDK cannot be started by
these means.
f Always read the operating instructions on the
fire extinguisher.
f The fire extinguisher should be checked to
ensure correct operation by a specialist
workshop every 1-2 years.
Serious transmission damage will result if the
attempt is made to push-start or tow-start
Panamera vehicles equipped with the PDK
transmission.
f Have the fire extinguisher refilled after use.
Fire Extinguisher
In cars with a fire extinguisher, the extinguisher is
located under the passenger seat.
f To remove the fire extinguisher in case of an
emergency, hold the extinguisher with one
hand and press the button PRESS on the fire
extinguisher holder with the other hand
(arrow).
