Warnings and cautions Be careful when using with small chamber or low pressure gauges not over pressure the gauges. Do not exceed 1500 psi for 917 ( 2000 psi for 918 ) safety limit. Do not shift between pressure and vacuum mode while the pump is under pressure. Open the vent valve as well as the bypass valve before switching between vacuum and pressure modes. Do not over tighten gauges or connectors. Lightly hand tight is sufficient. Store the pump in a dry non-corrosive environment. Additel is not responsible for problems or damage resulting from improper use or operation of the equipment. Specification Pressure range: 917: 4 psi ( 0.95 bar ) vacuum to 1000 psi ( 70 bar ) positive pressure 918: 4 psi ( 0.95 bar ) vacuum to 1500 psi ( 105 bar ) positive pressure 917/918 Pneumatic Pressure Test Pump User's Manual [Version number:1307V01] Temperature:(0~50)℃ Humidity: < 85%RH Fine adjust : 10 Pa ( 0.1 mbar ) Maximum pressure: 917: 1500 psi ( 105 bar ) 918: 2000 psi ( 140 bar ) Pressure media: Air Size: Height: 5.5'' ( 140 mm ); Base: 12.4'' ( 315 mm ) x 7.8'' ( 198 mm ) Weight: 5.7 lb ( 2.6 kg ) Remark:If local atmosphere pressure is 1 bar, the vacuum can reach to -0.95 bar; If local atmosphere pressure is P, the vacuum can reach to - 0.95P. Configuration & Air routine 1 1 - Pressure lever for pre-pressurization 2 - Handle 3 - 1/4 NPT plug 4 - Release valve 3 2 Air routine 7 3 (clockwise to close/ counterclockwise to open) 5 - Pressure lock 6 - Pressure/vacuum selector (Pressure: pull it out; Vacuum: push it in DO NOT switch under pressure or vacuum to avoid damage) ! 65 4 7 7 - Isolation valve (Bypass valve) 4 6 1 (isolates the calibration from the one way valve) 8 Under Vacuu 8 - Fine adjustment handle 8 (clockwise to increase pressure) Troubleshooting Problems Hard to use pressure lever Hard to pressurize Hard to use fine adjustment handle Fittings do not turn into pump easily Solutions Causes The isolation valve is not open. Open the isolation valve. A. Release valve is not closed. Close the release valve. B. The sealing ring is broken or loosen. Replace sealing ring. C. P/V selector is in wrong position. Pressure: pull it out; Vacuum: push it in. A. The isolation valve is not closed. Close the isolation valve. B. The gauges is not tightened. Tighten the reference gauge or the gauge under test. C. The sealing ring is aged or frayed. Replace sealing ring. D. The connector type is unmatched. Use the right and suitable adapter. E. Particle is blocking the air route. Pressurize and release pressure quickly several time to try and blow the particle out. Disassembly and cleaning may be necessary. A. Likely tightened too much! Do not apply too much force to close the fittings and gauges. B. The new pump is not smooth. The new pump needs time to abrade. C. The threads have no lubrication. Lubricate the threads.
