Renaming a Shelf
1. Open the shelf.
2. Tap .

3. Tap Rename shelf. A dialog box opens.
2. Tap Refresh.
4. Type a new name for the shelf.
5. Tap Rename.
Removing an Item from Your
Device
Removing a Shelf
Removing a shelf does not delete any of the items
on the shelf. They remain available in the Library.
You can remove an item such as a book from your
device. An image of the item remains in your Library,
so that you can download it again later if you like.
1. Open the shelf.
1. In the Library, press and hold on the item’s
cover.
2. Tap .
3. Tap Remove shelf. A dialog box opens.
2. Tap Remove from Device.
4. Tap Remove.
Deleting an Item from Your
Account
Viewing Content in Your NOOK
Archive
You can permanently delete an item from your
account so that it appears on none of your NOOK
devices or apps and is never available to your
account without being repurchased.
You can archive books and periodicals in the
NOOK Cloud.
1. In the Library, tap .
1. In the Library, press and hold on the item’s
cover.
2. Tap View Archive.
3. To download an item, tap its cover.
2. Tap Delete from Account. A dialog box opens,
asking you to confirm.
4. To return to the Library, tap the left arrow in the
top left-hand corner of the screen.
3. Tap Delete from Account.
