Interfaces to the Integrated Application
Deliverable [D4.5] contains a detailed description on how ecoCooperativeHorizon is
used by the ecoDriverCoaching application in section 7.4.2. The following text is an
excerpt from this section.
The ecoDriverCoaching bundle com.volvo.ecomove.obu.edc registers as an
IHorizonListener service in the OSGi service registry. The implementation of the
ecoCooperativeHorizon API, in our case from NAVTEQ, notifies all
IHorizonListener upon 3 types of events as listet in Table 9.

onContentChanged
The data content of the horizon has changed (maybe the
vehicle position as well), while the path itself (the list of road
segments) is unchanged.
The horizon has changed, including the path, data content,
and the vehicle position.
The position of the vehicle along the horizon has changed,
without any horizon data changes.

With this mechanism, the ecoDriverCoaching algorithm is notified and can access the
