sampler. Cymbal and drum hits in reverse are a classic effect,
previously created by reversing the tape reels on an analogue
machine, but now even easier to line up to the beat in your
editor window. Don’t forget to reverse pianos, horns and guitar
chords as well as percussion parts, odd bits of ambient noise
and other unusual sources – you never know what you may find!
Don’t overdo it, but spend a rainy afternoon looking for a new
sound which could set your mix apart from the rest! Listen to the
