In the minimap you can have a overall view of the galaxy, which systems have been
explored, which ones are inaccessible, which ones belong to who and the location of
all the visible planets and ships.
The buttons at the left of the minimap (from top to bottom) allow you to access the
Main Menu, move the camera to your ships, move the camera to your planets, move the
camera to your idle ships, and check the Planets and Colonies screen, respectively.
Once you have selected a planet, you can check more information on it such as its
population, happiness of the population, industry and research output and finances
balance. The panel at the right shows the stationed units in the selected planet. Just
like you would in a fleet, you can access more information about the unit by holding
the right mouse button on its respective icon and select and move one or more units
to move them outside the orbit.
