Crystal Dab Instructions and Safety: Introduction: Thank you for your purchase and welcome to the new generation of electronic nails. The Crystal Dab temperature controller is a slim, light weight, advanced electronic digital control which offer accuracy, efficiency and speed. It will heat up to 850 degrees under a minute, this is due to the cutting edge electronic control utilizing a powerful heating element encasing a quartz bowl There is no need of a butane torch and it is safe and simple to use in style. Safety and disclaimer: Please note that this device is warranted for the intended use for aroma therapy and oil diffusing. Any other use or abuse or tempering with any part of the device will void the warranty implied. Please read the following safety recommendations before using the Crystal Dab and keep this user manual for future reference. Please do not allow the use of or the operation of this unit in the presence of children, or to a person/s with life threatening illnesses. The manufacturer is not responsible for negligent use or improper operation or modification to this device. The Crystal Dab is not a medical device and it is not intended to cure, treat, prevent any medical condition. This device is also not intended to administer illegal products of any kind and doing so will void the warranty. Quartz carburetor cover cap. . 110/120 volt power cord to the wall outlet. Preparing the Crystal Dab for use. Before using the Crystal Dab, make sure the unit is placed on a solid surface over a good filled 18mm male ground joint water vessel, the unit must be clear away from combustible materials such as carpet, paper, etc. Install the two cables connecting the front of the temperature controller to the e-­‐nail element plug and the power cable from the back of the temperature controller to a 110 volt wall outlet. Turn on your unit by pressing the on button for approximately 3 seconds until the display of the letter Crystal Dab and shows an initial temperature, you can set it to F (Fahrenheit) or C (Centigrade) by pressing the on button briefly until it shows the temperature in the desired temperature reading. The Crystal Dab allows the user to set a timer for time limited dabbing from 30 to a maximum of 60 minutes of continued use. User can set the timer by pressing the on button twice. The display will show a time of 30 minutes, it can be increased by pushing the up button for a 60 minutes max. We highly recommend that the user does not exceed 5 minutes of use at 850 degrees since this is a high temperature device and needs to cool down at least 5 minutes before restarting it. Once the desired temperature is achieved by increasing or decreasing the temperature with the + or -­‐ buttons, the temperature will remain at that that temperature, WARNING: Please Do not touch or place your hand or fingers on or near the enail heater housing during its use since it will cause severe burning. Pick up a desired amount of material to be used and place inside the quartz enail cup by dabbing it around the wall of the quartz. Inhale from the water vessel outlet and enjoy the pure and clean taste of your dabbed material. For best vapor result leave the carb cap on until there is no more vapor. Cleaning the Crystal Dab You can for a short time (2-­‐5 minutes max. recommended) turn the enail temperature to 850F. Lightly scraping the bottom of the quartz nail with a thin flat metal object until most of the residue flakes away. Turn the temperature setting to your previously desired dabbing temperature to be ready for your next session. We recommended to do so frequently depending on the use to keep the dabbed materials free and clear from accumulating residue at the bottom of the Quartz cup. After use, turn off the unit by pressing the on and off bottom for 3 seconds. Allow at least 5 minutes to ensure total cooling has taken place before storing it in a safe place as desired. We also recommended to unplug the unit from the wall outlet after each use. PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE HEATER NAIL FROM YOUR WATER VESSEL FOR CLEANING PURPOSE OR OTHER, DO NOT USE THE NAIL ITSELF TO REMOVE IT FROM THE PIPE OR TWIST WHILE IT IS HARD DUE TO MATERIAL ACCUMULATION AT THE JOINT. PLEASE REMOVE IT FROM THE BOTTOM QUARTZ CONNECTION PART AFTER HEATING THE NAIL BRIEFLY, OTHER WISE THE E-­‐NAIL WILL BE CRACKED OR DAMAGED IF FORCEBLY REMOVED BY TWISTING THE NAIL, THUS RESULTING IN VOIDING THE WARRANTY. WARNING: Do not use acids or harsh chemicals to clean the controller box or the lens as it will damage its finish/appearance. Do not immerse the Heater assembly in liquids as it will cause damage the electronics. WARRANTY 1 Year Limited Warranty Information We warrant this branded device against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for one year from the date of retail purchase by the original owner/purchaser. This warranty does not apply to broken/damaged quartz. If a physical defect arises and a claim is received within the warranty period, at its option and to the extent permitted by law, we will either: 1. Repair the product defect 2. Exchange the product with a new or refurbished functionally equivalent product 3. The limited warranty does not apply to normal performance degradation or overextended periods of use at high temperatures which damage the integrity of the components or neglecting to adhere to cleaning instructions.
