Prototype User Manual Prototype Implementation: The E-Nurse prototype was implemented using Macromedia Flash 5. This implementation makes our prototype accessible on Windows, Macintosh and Linux platforms via the internet using a web browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator with Macromedia Flash Player plug-in installed. A standalone executable version (Windows platform only) has also been included to provide access to the prototype without the plug-in. System Requirements: Macromedia specifies the following system requirements: Windows Macintosh Linux Microsoft Windows 95, 98,Me, NT, 2000, or later System 8.1 or later Linux Redhat 6.0 or above (Pentium-based only) Netscape plug-in works with Netscape 3 or later Netscape plug-in works with Netscape 3 or later, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or later Netscape Navigator 4 or higher, with standard install defaults The prototype has been tested on the following systems: • Internet Explorer 5.0 / Shockwave Flash 5.0 (Windows 2000 Professional) • Netscape Navigator 4.75 / Shockwave Flash 5.0 (Windows 2000 Professional) • Netscape Navigator 4.75 / Shockwave Flash 5.0 (RedHat Linux 7) To Access the E-Nurse Prototype: Go to http://www.colba.net/~softx/ENurse.htm to access the running prototype. The prototype demonstrates the various functionalities of the E-Nurse through four demo scenarios. Click on a demo scenario from the available list. The demo scenario page will open and the scenario will begin. Each E-Nurse demo scenario can be restarted at any time by clicking on the rewind button in the lower right-hand corner of the demo screen (except for the Schedule Demo, which runs until the stop button is pressed). Pressing the stop button in the lower right-hand corner returns to the main prototype screen and allows you to choose a new demo scenario.
