Resource efficiency is a subject that affects us all. Continuing climate change caused by the
damaged ozone layer is the result of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from the burning of fossil
fuels. These emissions are increasing on a daily basis due to the vast amount of resources we
consume. To minimise our consumption, we need to slow down the rate of growth by making
more efficient use of our resources. At Bosch, we design some of the most efficient home
appliances in the world. For example, our ActiveWater™ dishwashers are amongst the most
resource-efficient in the world, generating the cleaning power of over 4000 litres from as little
as 12.3 litres per wash. Selected induction cooktops feature an 'Energy Consumption Display'
and selected rangehoods, Series 8 ovens and compact ovens now include the energy-efficient
EcoSilence Drive® brushless motor.
