Carefullyunpackyourheaterfrombox,pleasesave thecartonforoff-seasonstorage. 2. Placeheateronafirm,levelsurface. 3. Plugheaterintoastandardoutlet. NOTE:Avoidoverloadingyourcircuitbynotusing otherhighwattageappliancesinthesameoutlet.At 1500watts,thisunitdraws12.5Amps. Mode Control TurntheModeControltothedesiredsetting: 0 - Off Mode Ifyouwanttoshutofftheheateratanytimeduring operation,turntheModeControltoOff(0)position. 1 - LOW Heat Theheaterwillruncontinuouslyat750W. 2 - HIGH Heat Theheaterwillruncontinuouslyat1500W. NOTE:Tostarttheheateroperation,makesurethe ThermostatControlisturnedfullyclockwisetothehighest position.PowerLightwillremainlituntiltheheateris switchedOffat(0)position. Thermostat Control 1. Beforesettingthethermostat,allowheatertooperate andwarmuptheroom.Setthethermostattothe highestsetting(9)tostarttheheater. 2. Whenthedesiredtemperaturecomfortlevelis reached,lowerthethermostatsettinguntiltheheater stopsoperating.Thisisdonebymovingthe ThermostatControltowardlowersetting. 3. Thethermostatwillnowautomaticallymaintainthe pre-settemperaturelevelbyturningtheheaterON andOFF. Whentheheaterisaccidentallyknockedover,itwill instantlyshutoff.Theheatermayalsoshutoffifitis movedorbumped.Toreset,simplyplacetheheaterinan uprightposition,andturntheModeControltothedesired heatsettingandheaterwillresumeoperation. CLEANING/MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOOTING Alwaysunplugtheheaterbeforecleaningandallowthe heatertocooldown. 1. Cleantheunitwithasoftclothmoistenedwithamild soapsolution. 2. NEVERuseabrasiveorflammablesolventstoclean theunit. 3. Aftercleaning,besuretocompletelydrytheunit withaclothortowel. 4. Storeheaterinacool,drylocation. 5. Itisrecommendedthatyoustoretheunitinits originalcarton. TIP:Overtime,dustmayaccumulateonthegrills. Thiscanberemovedbywipingtheunitwithadamp cloth. General Information: AUTO SAFETY SHUT-OFF Thisheaterisequippedwithatechnologically-advanced safetysystemthatrequirestheusertoresettheheaterif thereisapotentialoverheatsituation.Whenapotential overheattemperatureisreached,thesystemwill automaticallyshuttheheateroff.Itcanonlyresume operationwhentheuserresetstheunit.
