Fuel Tank Cap and Strainer Clean

3. Remove the strainer that is located in the filler
opening.
4. Wash the strainer and the fuel tank cap in a clean,
nonflammable solvent.
5. Install the strainer into the filler opening.
6. Install the fuel tank cap. Close the engine access
door.

Fuel Tank Water and Sediment
- Drain

Release the pressure in the fuel tank by loosening
the fuel tank cap.
The fuel tank drain valve is located in the center on
the left side underneath the machine.

The fuel cap is located in the center on the left side
of the machine.

Remove the cover.
Open the fuel tank drain valve. Allow the water and
sediment to drain into a suitable container. Close the
fuel tank drain valve.

1. Lift the lever (1) and turn the lever counterclockwise
until the lever stops. Remove the cap (2).
2. Inspect the seal for damage. Replace the seal, if
necessary.
Replace the cover.
